I stayed two nights in an 8 bed room. All amenities were well taken care of and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Location and proximity is a real plus and I would recommend this to other people looking for a place to crash. If you have a partner though then it could be cheaper to find an air b&b.

Nice clean and tidy place but a bit too quiet, doesn't really have much personality and lacks much atmosphere. Quite expensive but it's in Auckland so most hostels will be.
Would stay here again if nothing better was available.

Very clean and super big kitchen very well equipped. The private room isn't the best because the windows are little and there are at the top of the wall, just serve for brighten. The wifi is mediocre. It is a quiet hostel and the staff is nice. The location could be better, because when you are coming back of the center, the last 2 block are very way up.

Clean, close to the city and friendly staff. However, it's the worse bed I have slept in while in New Zealand. You could feel the frame of the bunk through the mattress.

Accommodations were fine, but the cleanliness not so great. For a big place, needs constant cleaning so no one else gets sick like our group did.

Clean hostel, perfect location near downtown, with a good free WiFi. Only 4 showers at each level, so you'd better be ready early :-)

One of the best hostels in auckland. Clean and tidy. Big kitchen for cooking. Service really good. Perfect for who don't have the perfect English at the beginning

I didn't get a breakfast here even though I booked it. They explained me that only the travellers who ordered a room with a Work&Travel organisation get breakfast. They treated me like someone very stupid because I didn't want to accept that. One day later, I printed out my booking confirmation in order to proof them that I have a breakfast inclusive. They gave me the breakfast looking angry without apologizing for anything.
On top, the atmosphere in the Hostel isn't familiar at all, no one talks to each other except to friends. This is because the other guests generally consisted out of very young travellers who just began their NZ travels. They aren't used to the Backpacking life and don't care about other people.
