With this I would like to make my very best recommendation for an extraordanary service and hospitality by staying in this homefeeling atmosfere. I came from overseas to Auckland for a medical treatment, and Bart took me twice to doctor/hospital. I am thankfull for a very special experience with everything my two hosts were giving to me in the special situation I was in.

Of the many places we stayed in while visiting New Zealand, this is far and away my wife's favorite and for good reason--the spacious, chic, ultra-modern rooms are incredibly comfortable and well-appointed, but they fall away when compared to the fantastic hosts that go out of their way to make certain you have a wonderful time while staying with them. Bart and Therese are delightful conversationalists that know Auckland inside-and-out, providing wonderful dialogue and loads of useful information about the city as well as delicious breakfasts and a wide variety of amenities. Their in-house wine selection is also excellent and the bottle of sparkling wine we had was perhaps some of the best I've ever had.

A+++. I am definitely making sure my wife's mother stays here because her standards are astronomically high--and I know that she will not be disappointed by the Ascott Parnell B&B.
If you are visiting Auckland, you should absolutely consider treating yourself with a night or two here!

Ascot Parnell is unquestionably a premier boutique B&B that is consistently excellent in service, accommodations, comfort, and quality. We'd give them more than 5 stars if we could! We know because we have been repeat visitors to Auckland, staying by choice during our visits with hosts Bart and Therese in their well-appointed and meticulously maintained guest rooms. All B&Bs should learn from these experts in how to be the best.

Thank you Bart and Therese for a top class B & B so close to the city, but quiet and relaxing for a mum and daughter 4 day stay to shop and to go wedding dress shopping, all of which was successful.. lovely clean apartment to stay in, our hosts went out of their way to make our stay relaxing and we certainly would stay again and recommend to any traveller who wants a really nice classy place to stay - this is it!

I am embarrassed to be so late in writing this review. Even though we traveled 7 months ago to New Zealand, I think of it often and fondly. Out of our two weeks of traveling the North Island this Bed and Breakfast was the absolute best! Bart and Therese were the most amazing hosts! Full of local knowledge and advice, fun, friendly, and just downright charming! Their beautiful B&B is perfectly located within walking distance of everything you could want to see, do and eat as well as being on a bus route to take you to anything else you might want. Truly perfectly located. We felt like we were leaving family when we leftwe miss you and think of you often Bart and Therese!

NZ little GEM
Bart and Terese were the ultimate hosts. Showing us their magnificent 'gaff' in the heart of Parnell, tucked behind the church that dominates the village. Scrupulously clean, despite the two most wonderful four legged creatures, trying to derail their efforts. Ascot Parnell Boutique B&B is just that, bed and breakfast - with the splendour of the surroundings, hosts, decor, passion, food, knowledge, with excellent hosts thrown in for good measure. After 7 weeks in a camper van, this is what we definitely needed. A wind down in the most beautiful B&B possible, and boy did we find it. Every whim or fancy could and would be made possible, if you asked. A scrumptious end to a eye opening introduction to New Zealand. We will be back.
