Last minute booking, room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable.
Staff very helpful, allowing us to park overheight vehicle (roofbox attached) for 2 nights in above ground short stay parking - much appreciated.
Breakfast suited us - avoiding fry ups anyway, so pastries and "muesli" ingredients & decent coffee machine great.response / report this review -

Considering we were abroad and had no way of contacting the hotel to advise them that our flight was delayed a full day and we would not be able to make out first day to check in, I can't rate the hotel. However, after I was finally able to get ahold of wifi and send an email, I found that there was no help offered and my hotel stay was canceled with no refund. Great way to spend the first night of our honeymoon. I hope that with future reservations you have customer service take the time to listen to your customers' concerns and offer further help. I understand the hotel policy, but I would have appreciate more of an effort than offering me a room that I already paid for with an added fee of a night stay.

Nice apartment. Handy location and a reasonable price. Hard to find a good 2 bedroom, kid friendly unit for a reasonable cost and the Waldorf ticked all our boxes. Even a dishwasher. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Nice simple breakfast that doesn't break the bank.

So disappointed to have to write this review. We were really excited about having a night in the city. I've been a little ill so wanted to come to the Waldorf and relax in front of the tv after a great dinner out. We noted cords were missing for the DVD player so decided to ask reception for some. We were told that there were no cords available. I suggested I would go and buy some and seek reimbursement, but was told no. So I asked if a staff member would go, and they said they did not have time and were too busy as the hotel was full of guests.
Pretty annoyed, I went and bought the cords myself as I figured it's only 10 to 20 dollars, and didn't want to ruin the quiet night away planned.
So I take the cords back, plug them in, only to find the DVD player does not work! When I filled in the "something broken" card and took it to reception, they said we should not even have a DVD player in the room so would not replace it.
We then checked the tv reception, and it was snowier than a Dunedin winter storm, so couldn't watch it. So, the form filled out again, and no contact from reception.
The initial service was good from one staff member but if you have a problem, it is absolutely terrible and we feel completely ripped off.
The attitude of the receptionist was so disappointing. I'd have her working in a book room role as she certainly is not capable of interacting with customers.
Definitely do not really recommend and when you are spending as much money as we are, I would just go for a genuine 4+star night out. This place is a 3 at a stretch.response / report this review -

Great accommodations centrally located in the city. Many restaurants nearby, close to stadium, and the ferry. Great locale! Rooms have many amenities to include kitchen, washer and dryer.

Very posh and looks very luxurious apartment hotel. Staff members are very helpful, and friendly. They don't have a fixed check-in time, if your room is ready, they'll let you in to your room. Their lighting in the room is a bit dark, as their flood light only have narrow downward angle despite of its high wattage. Most rooms have balcony, though views from each room will varies. The room have kitchenette as well as fridge. If you look for 2 bedrooms apartment, one of the bedroom will be in the middle of the apartment, so will have no access to any natural light.

Close in city central and new market. Many restaurants and 24 hours supermarket nearby. Full equiped kitchen. Very good for family trip.

Nice rooms. There's no check in or loading zone parking for checking in. You'll have to use the parkade behind the apartment and then get it validated (24h for 25$).

Multiple staff members ignored our report that the toilet was leaking water all over the bathroom. They didn't offer to move us and ignored our report at check out. I've never been ignored before when reporting a maintenance issue. Don't trust anything to be clean.

Had to pay twice. We pre paid and got an email thanking is for the payment. Money transfer appeared on bank statement.
On checkout told us we hadn't paid. Would not budge. Had a ship to catch so had no choice but to pay again for the 2 apartments.
