Absolutely shocking. Refused to stay, and had to fight to get money back.. Room was a box, with a view of 8 rubbish bins that stank, next to the pub chiller that vibrated the wall and kitchen staff staring straight in the window, as they emptied bottles and rubbish bins. Shower was blocked. Room should not be for guests! Terrible. Would not recommend!

The Poenamo Hotel was ok. Parking was limited. There are no Do Not Disturb signs. The reception is not 24 hours. The room I stayed in (the Jade room) was big. Wi-fi was really weak. The TV didn't work. Our doorknob was broken. At least you can get a decent sleep with their somewhat soft pillows.

It was dirty, run down, most uninviting. Could not stay there. Carpet was worn, showers dirty, paving outside units dirty and rubbish tins full.

Really friendly and welcoming staff! Awesome that it's close to the motor way! Surrounding restaurants were nice. Loud music from bar as it was St Patrick's day but all other nights were good. Good facilities with clean and tidy rooms. Thank you!

I would prefer to be giving a good review about this hotel but I cannot. The room that we had was less than satisfactory for the price that we paid. The bathroom window was broken and couldn't be closed let alone locked for security purposes. Our room backed onto what looked like the kitchen where we were constantly hearing throughout the evening rubbish bins being moved. Room was very small. Unfortunately on our departure we had left items that we had purchased for family that were of significant value and didn't realise until we returned home that these were left behind. a phone call was made to the hotel immediately whereupon we were advised that we would have to call back at 10am the following morning when the cleaners were in as anything that is left behind is put into a cupboard that is locked. We rang back the next morning only to be told that nothing was found in the room. There was no decision around speaking further with the cleaning staff and that was that. discussion over. In my view this was unsatisfactory and no regard toward us was shown. The only thing I am confident in is that the staff employed at this establish are nothing short of anything else but thieves and we definitely will not stay here again nor would I recommend it to anybody else. Very disappointing and costly experience.
