Basic place if u need a bed to crash on. Close to the station. I just felt it wasn't the best value for what I paid per night

Great stay and at the right price. Bed was excellent. The only problem was that there was no soap supplied with the shower and the base of it could do with a clean.

Would definitely stay again.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was great. Hot water for showers was in short supply and we only managed to get one hot shower in the 5 nights we stayed. Shower needs a good scrub. Rooms serviced daily and Wi-Fi available. Kitchen set up is minimal. Rooms are warm and beds are very comfortable.

Handy Auckland location, between motorway access north and south. All you need for business accommodation. Sky TV, parking & usual amenities. Recommend this motel.

I stayed at the motel with my nephew from 21 June to 1st July for logistical reasons. It is located a stones throw away from the Chinese Consulate General where I was going to apply for my Chinese Visa. We stayed at the newly renovated family room. The staff were extremely polite and resourceful. It is directly opposite a branch of the Wendy's Fast-food joint that closes around midnight which my nephew found very convenient. If fast food is not your thing than a 15 minutes walk up the slopping hill from the motel you will find a branch of the Countdown supermarket that opens 24/7 where you will find anything and everything that you will need to cook up a good chow. You can request cooking pots (and necessary household items you need like an Iron etc)from the motel staff. The day time cleaning staff are very helpful in giving directions, especially the Tongan Lady ( I regret not getting her name). If you are travelling from overseas and you bank with the ANZ Bank, there is an ANZ branch right next to the motel. The staff at the Bank are superb especially Mr. Mukesh Chand ( originally from Labasa, Fiji) and Ms.Kate (the ones that I dealt with). If you are travelling from China, you can withdraw from the ANZ ATM using your Chinese Union Pay Card. 10 minutes walk from the motel you will find the Elleslie Metro Station that gets you into the city for $11. We enjoyed our stay at the motel.

Photos of the deluxe queen looked lovely when I booked online but room was a big let down. Pillows were smelly and badly stained. There were hairs in the bed. Blood on the wall in toilet. The eating utensils and bowls were not clean.. still someone else's weetbix attached to the rim. Overall a very tired appearance, although the gentlemen who showed us to our room said they had recently been "done up"- painted and carpeted. Very old and unmatched furniture.

Would not stay again. Very disappointed.

Friendly staff. Room and furnishings were a little cheap looking and outdated, but overall quite tidy. Very reasonable pricing. In a good area (close to public transport, food outlets and supermarket). Definitely recommend

My first welcome to New Zealand. Run by a very friendly and helpful family. I stayed in a nice and clean recently refurbished room with top notch facilities including tea/coffee making facilities, a microwave, fridge, fast WiFi and a good TV with Sky. Very comfortable bed and an impressive shower.
The hotel itself is in a perfect location on a good accessible main road and it has plenty of parking. Lots of places to eat nearby and a five minute walk from the train in to the city which itself only takes 15 minutes. Very happy with my stay.
