Seem to think the comments are overly harsh. It's hardly a hotel paradise but it's the cheapest you're gonna get if you wanna get a hotel in Amsterdam. Reasonable service, was left alone by staff which I personally appreciate. Didn't get up for breakfast. Fancied a lie in.

Avoid it! Rooms stink (smoke, mold etc). Bedlinen dirty. Staff does not care of the conditions, not helpful. They couldn't even lend a needle and thread when asked; nor fill up bathroom dispensers.

Perfect location to reach Amsterdam Rai by walk, easy to reach city center via public transportation. Very Good restaurants around. Very safe ara (next to police station :) ) but no 4 star service very small room for the price we paid. Be careful about young receptionist. You might be Lucky if she have no fight with her boy friend. ..

Location isn't the closest to the city, however it within a walkable distance. The staff were wonderful, and provided a very early check in, as my partner was unwell.

2 star hotel a best - Window unable to close or open for that matter, air con broken and has been for a long time

I really don't know where to start Location is good and breakfest is fine - But I will in no way stay here again or recormend this place - Absolut joke of a 4 star (!!!!!!) hotel

We arrivede and all seemed good - Room was okay size, beds small, but to live with - But not after 2 (soon to be 3) nights of sweat and no sleep. The money we/you pay to stay at a 4 star (!!!!!!!!) hotel and then have a room where we can't close the window or open it. The window is currently being held open, just a little bit, by a spoon.. A spoon is holding the window open at a 4 (!!!!!!!!!!!!!) star hotel. We told the staff and what seems to be the manager the first night, and told they were going to get it fixed. We did that againg the day after, and again today - Only to be told that's just how it is and the air-con is not working. Then after reading google-reviews it was pretty clear it has been a problem for months.

This is a 2 star hotel at best - Absolut joke

Rooms were dated and staff were somewhat aloof. The worst thing was the non effective air conditioning in all the rooms the party had. Good location however.

I have been "guest" in this hotel from tuesday 16.05.2017 until 20.05.2017 for a congress we had in Amsterdam. 4 nights nearly 900€ without breakfast. Won´t discus prices here but it was like the worts hotel experience i ever had. The airconditioner ddin´t not only not cool down the room but heat it up so it was impossible to sleep during two hot nights in amsterdam. Complaining about it from the very first moment they never responded properly and on friday suddenly, while sleeping, there came two mecanicas in my room without a call from the hotel stuff. I demanded to speak to the manager but without any response. I demanded the reclamtion form and it wasnt disponible, only an internalk evaluation form whitch i used to express my disapointment again but niobody got in contact with me. 4 stars????? 900 euros?????? it´s a shame of a hotel sincerly

Facilities are not nice - carpet is dirty, walls are a bit scratched, lump in my room cannot be turned on, wifi connection is sometimes cut off, and towels seem so much used
The location is not bad as they have tram station in front of the hotel.

Very big room with comfortable beds and sofa. The cleanliness on the carpet should be improved. Friendly Personnel at the reception.

Unfortunately it was dirty when I was there, especially for a 4 stars hotel. Breakfast is too simple. One good thing is that the bed are extremely comfortable. And it's close to the Rai if you have to attend an exhibit.

Stained carpets in the room, musty smelling, and the beds are not made for anything besides sleeping. But don't bother, every one in the hall way is audible down to the whisper. The check in lady was fantastic but the rest of the staff was awful. Door handles and bathroom floors are slimy and the morning staff was incredibly rude. Not even a good morning nor smile from any of them. Breakfast is severely lacking concerning the extra price. However, because of the staff, I will never stay here again and suggest taking your business elsewhere.
