Wow! This is such an awesome bed & breakfast. I will be staying here every time I visit Amsterdam. My wife and I were greeted with cocktails and shown to our incredibly lovely room which we fell in love with instantly.

I've just got back from celebrating Kingsday in Amsterdam and my third stay at the Barangay. It's a wonderful little gem of a B&B, very conveniently located, with two very friendly hosts, not to mention the helpful staff who will carry your luggage up the obligatory steep Amsterdam staircases. The rooms are excellent with flatscreen TV, WiFi, tasteful & fun decor. The patio rooms come with a lovely breakfast in bed for that personal touch. This is a great B&B run to a very high standard. It caters for everyone, and is a favourite with the LGBT community. After visiting the city since 1983, I think I can honestly say that this is the best B&B I've found. I'll certainly be booking here again for future trips.

I have booked again for Christmas 2016. The famous self serve breakfast bar has unfortunately closed due to a change in Amsterdam B&B rules. But this means that everyone gets the breakfast in bed!. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, well run, friendly hosts, clean, tidy and just a short 10 min walk from the central station.

Our double room was located in the basement of the property I wasn't aware of this but maybe missed it reading other reviews, though our room did share a patio area.

On the downside there was a power shortage on our first day staff did fix within an hour of being notified as they do not reside within the property.

Rooms clean and tidy with enough space, table as breakfast is served in room only. Bathroom looked new with some neat finishes. Free WiFi

Overall location ideal if you want central areas and the station nearby.

Really friendly staff.
