Second time staying with Luxer. Will stay again. Very clean, front desk very efficient, rooms good, breakfast great. Felt very safe.

Lovely & clean place, fresh towels everyday. Shame about the bottle bin right outside the room window. Wish the handy man waited until after 9am to get his drill out.

I think the price and the size of the room is worth it especially when you are in the city center. Our stay is nice except our neighbor next door keeps banging the wall, I don't know why. But overall, we like our stay. Very friendly staff and a good food selection for breakfast buffet. Not bad.

I can't speak of the food as I haven't eaten here, but I must say this was a great hotel and totally worth it. The room was very clean and the interior was modern. Also, the staff was friendly.
I have no complaints really. Worth mentioning though, is that the room was a bit smaller than average. It was a good use of space though.response / report this review -

Great hidden gem. Located right in the city, close to Dam square and the bustling red light district but quiet and cosy. Rooms are air conditioned and, while a little small, well equipped and with a very comfortable bed. Staff are friendly, always around and happy to help. It was cheap too. If you're a couple or friends looking for a nice central hotel, this is ideal.

If you want to stay in/near the red light district where all the partying is at, this is a nice place to stay. We didn't hear any street noise from our room on the 1st (that's the European 1st) floor, the beds were comfortable, and the water pressure went very high. The main downside during our stay was that the WiFi was almost unusable at times.

Nice litte hotel where I stayed for almost a week. It was better than I expected. I was given a room that had two windows. Bed was comfy, room size was adequate and the room was nice. Shower had a great water pressure. Front desk and room cleaner was very friendly.

Such a great central location wow. Easy walk to train station [even with luggage] and to any where in the city!! Close to toms of shops and boat tours as well as red light district. Private area to smoke off the hotel bar which was nice you didn't have to be on the street in the chaos of Amsterdam.

In terms of location, this hotel is the best location for seeing the city. We got two single beds and our room is the perfect size to rest and relax in. The beds are clean and comfortable and the staff is spool friendly. We will definitely come back.

Loud air conditioning, even when turned off. Shower flooded and they didn't refund me the extra day that I cancelled, even though they sold the room. Good location but that's all.

Really clean and quiet hotel. Super friendly and helpful people at the front desk. And cheap'ish beers. The only issue I had was with the bathroom - the water from the bath area spilling over to the rest of the bathroom, and not completely draining out.
