The main issue was that the water temperature in the shower fluctuated so much that it took twice as long as usual because I had to keep stepping out and adjusting it. This didn't bother me but you might also want to be aware that none of the rooms have their own toilet (this is clear on the hotel's own site, but some of the aggregators have it wrong). The staff was super friendly and available all night. The attendant was also able to give a variety of tips about the area.

Prices are expensive in general in Amsterdam. This is a quote cheap option in comparison to others. We got the breakfast earlier than official time as we had to leave. So very nice and welcoming reception.

It's a budget place. We booked a room for three and it was the cheapest in town. There were six single beds in the room, but it was booked for us only. Helpful staff. Breakfast is OK.

Cozy place, good located (just some minutes to downtown) with a very good price value. Cool and interesting stuff, free coffee and tea all day long and one can even use the kitchen to cook own food. We stayed three nights at this Hotel, one more than we've initially planed. There's a partly covered courtyard, where we spent half the day(s) sitting there and talking to other guests and the very cool and interesting stuff. Recommend it!

Reasonably friendly staff, and clean facilities. However, there was no toilet in the bedroom - just a shower. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, but overall the stay did not provide value for money.

    Incredibly overpriced (£305/€342).
We were on the third floor and there is no lift. Carrying our suitcases up and down three flights of stairs was not easy.
The room was not big enough to swing a cat in. The "wardrobe" was simply an empty filing cabinet with a safety deposit box only big enough to put 3-4 apples in.
We were not informed beforehand that we would have to use a communal toilet and shower. The shower room was more like a prison shower with a weird mini wall jutting out for goodness knows what reason.
The toilet was filthy and we used our own antibacterial wipes to clean the toilet before and after use.
Only one key was given between two people with was inconvenient when one person left the room alone the other needed to stay behind to let the other back in.
On one occasion, a man entered the room without permission, then he simply walked back out.
Early one morning during our stay, an alarm blared loudly for several minutes which woke up not only us but other guests. The alarm would go off then restart after a few minutes.
A good point of the hotel is that it is very close to the botanical gardens and close to a small park.
Only one member of staff was ever seen; she was friendly and helpful.
    Overall: not worth the money.

As soon as we arrived we felt welcome and at ease. The atmosphere is very freindly and the rooms and very clean. Kelly was very nice to everyone that she spoke to and is easy to talk to. It is in a good location, we didn't have to walk far to find what we were looking for. Would love to stay here again if I come back to the area

It's an OK budget hotel, the room was clean. You will have to put up with having a shared toilet and the breakfast is really modest but it does work for a short stay.

Overall it is a nice place for the money. Do not expect anything fancy. The staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms are simple, breakfast was decent. A good place to stay when you're on a budget.

Great price and the staff were lovely. Breakfast is simple and done well. Coffee available all day is a bonus. Also very conveniently located in a peaceful and scenic part of town. Shared shower/toilet was a first for me but they were kept immaculately. Great place all round. Will be visiting again!
