Excellent hotel. Stayed here 2 nights during a business trip. Some things that I really liked:
-5 minute walk from Central Station.
-Friendly and very well groomed/dressed/stylish staff.
-The great interior design (both room and lobby etc) compensated for the relatively small size of the room.
-Very clean and tidy.
-Usb input next to power sockets.
-There was a yoga mat in the room, which is the exact same (brand,color) as the one I have at home.
-There was a little note in the bathroom that listed many products /accesoires that could be arranged for you in case you forgot to bring something.
-Overall, I loved the attention to detail and the ‘think with the customer’ mindset.response / report this review -

Having been recently remodeled, I admit to missing the Lounge area. That was a great place to get some work done and have a bit of a snack.
That being said, the remodel was dramatic. While still very nice, it has transitioned from 'wood and brass' nice to 'leather and chrome' nice. Effectively it is a more modern and younger reinterpretation of itself.

Hotel is beautiful and perfectly kept. Staff is incredible. Jamie, the bartender at House Bar, is off the chain. The care he takes in mixing each cocktail is art! I have stayed here 5 days and have started and finished each with a new adventure. A MUST in Amsterdam.

A short walk from the central station, and in a prime location for exploring Amsterdam, the Kimpton De Witt lovely interior and very helpful staff is a hotel we will be re-visiting.
On this occasion we only stayed the one night, arriving at the hotel early am, the staff took care of our bags and gave us plenty of info so we could go and explore. A prompt call was made once the room was ready.
Nothing was too much for trouble and when we needed something it was catered for.
Room was spotless and spacious. The king size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very elegant.
We didn’t eat in the restaurant as we had other reservations.

Excellent hotel in an amazing location. Hotel room was large, very comfortable, and the shower was perfect. The restaurant was great (chicken wings are top notch) and if you like whisky Old Fashions get Tom from the bar to make it for you. Hands down the best Old Fashion in the city. I'll be back for sure.

Great hotel, thoroughly modern. Great service from the staff. Free wine between 5 & 6 I believe! Room was very cool, with a lovely comfy bed. Nice selection of books in the chill area too.

Brand new and very comfortable hotel very close to Central Station and some of the most interesting locations of the city. Kimpton style is quite clear with nice attention to details in the rooms and in the public spaces. Natural materials, nice textiles, design forniture are making the environment very enjoyable.

The Kimpton De Witt deserve nothing less than a 5-star review. My friend and I originally booked with a third-party site and had a major booking issue - the third party site did nothing to help, but Kimpton stepped-up to take care of us. We were blown away by their customer service, friendly staff, and generosity. A big thank you to everyone that made our experience a 10/10! The hotel is stunning, perfectly located, immaculately clean, and every staff member made our stay beyond enjoyable. We were celebrating a birthday on the trip and were spoiled with a surprise in our room! I can't wait to go back to Amsterdam and stay at The De Witt!

Cute design hotel with smallish rooms in excellent location for tourists. 5 minute walk from Central station. The rooms are cute and the service is excellent. Unfortunately the rooms are quite small. There is no room in the bathroom for any of your stuff. And I mean no room. And the "closet" also can only store a few items maximum. If you're two people one must leave stuff in their bag. Hard to stay here when the design is more important than function. Still, I'd consider if they keep the prices low.

Comfy hotel conveniently located in the center of all the action. The hotel was recently renovated into the Kimpton brand. They paid attention to every detail in the design, maintaining the characteristics of the Kimpton brand, yet keeping a unique style. Rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need to feel at home. The staff is very professional and always willing to help. I organized an event for 60 people and everything ran smoothly. The staff were available and ready to accommodate our group's needs. They came up with creative details that made our event a success.
