Stayed in one of the condos through Airbnb so I can't speak to the hotel rooms, but my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pools were awesome, I loved the swim-up bar (apart from the fact that it's in the shade so a bit chilly after 3pm or so). Raul took good care of us poolside, bringing drinks and snacks to order. The hotel restaurant is pretty nice, we ate breakfast there once and mostly enjoyed it. (The "sausage" is hotdogs, FYI) Security was top notch, so always felt safe. Everything was kept very clean and the staff were always friendly. The location was perfect: walking distance to everything in the hotel zone but not too loud. I'd definitely stay here again if I come back to Cancun!

One of the best experiences I had traveling was staying at Ocean dream. The staff was so incredibly nice and hospitable. They always wanted to make sure that me and my group we’re getting everything we needed. When we did need something, they wasted no time to help us. The rooms were lovely and clean every day, and poor service was also amazing. I would stay here again the next time I came :)

Stayed in Condos. Great service by owner. Wish it was slightly bigger however. Nice pool and beach is incredibly close. Great time, super close to night clubs.

I stayed here with in a private rental as this property is mixed hotel and private residences. I presume rooms have a similar set up and mine was great with a great kitchen area. There is a huge balcony, ours overlooked the lagoon which is a pretty view and gets the sun later in the day and you can watch the sun set. It's in a great spot, close to amenities and a fab supermarket. The infinity pool is lovely and we never had a problem getting a lounger, the beach right outside was also lovely and quiet. It's a shame the new second pool with swim up bar wasn't finished but that can't be helped. We ate the buffet breakfast once which was 15 usd and although nice was a little on the cold side. Would I stay here again, yes. Is it luxury, no but it's a good solid economical choice with good location.

Beautiful Ocean view. The room, although modernized, lacks many modern conveniences that Americans are accustomed to. Hotel does not provide, nor has much knowledge of local tourist locations and/or points of interest. They are however, very polite. Cleanliness is definitely lacking.

We loved the hotel! It wasn’t expensive and offered spacious, clean rooms with amazing 360 view. It offers nice sandy beach with turquoise waters.
Cons:
- the only negative is the 15:00 check-in time which is normal for this part of the world

Great location right on beach. Close to the best restaurants and night clubs. Heart of the hotel zone, very safe. Great infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Recently renovated and upgraded.

The worse hotel I have ever stayed in! The photos are not representational of the hotel at all! The rudest, unhelpful staff, aged room which made our clothes damp in out case after one nights stay. The staff accused us of not paying the room even though I had already paid my nights stay! Unless you like clubbing or a a deep sleeper the club noise up the road can be heard! An awful end to our amazing holiday around Mexico!

Rooms were delivered as promised. They were clean and had a balcony with a great view of the ocean. The built in kitchen came in very handy too. Also, the staff was very friendly. Great location too within walking distance to nightclubs, shopping, and restaurants.

Stayed in condo 103 which was booked through air B&B. Brilliant space with everything we needed. Would recommend this anyone looking for a clean place with great amenities which is practically on the beach and within 5 minutes walking of coco bongos etc. 2 pool within the complex which are free to use. Sunbeds are hard to get so make sure you are down early in the morning. The hotel has a restaurant which you can pay for breakfast at- be warned though the prices are ridiculously high compared to other places around and I would recommend going elsewhere. Condo 5 star +.

We were very disappointed with the customer service at Ocean Dream on our stay during the first week of January. As others have said, the staff is unwilling to help with even basic tasks. When asked for help to get a taxi, we were told to just go out into the street and get one ourselves. There were several instances when they were unwilling to help - any questions about local accommodations went unanswered. When we wanted to leave, we hoped we could leave our bags in the lobby for an hour or so but were told we couldn't. Fortunately, the building itself is nice and the views beautiful. However you should expect little to no service from the staff.

The rooms are above average. The staff can speak English, but not all of them. The restaurant is a good alternative, the food is generally cheap. The pools are a little small, but they seem clean.

Beautiful view from very Clean room, Very Safe hotel with Closed gates manned by Security guards posted 24 hours. Guests are given bracelets. Must have bracelet to go inside property. Super close to all the Night Clubs. Pool is Very clean. Private Beach is not as calm and has some seaweed on shore, but it's still Beautiful. Hot tub is not HOT.
