Beautiful adults only property with nice rooms all beach front. Food was good and so were the drinks. Only complaint would be no air condition in the common areas of the resort. It's kind of hot.

My husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary here last week and couldn't have had a better time. The food was amazing. The staff was SO nice and remembered our preferences. Everyone was amazing! We splurged on the swim up suite and fully enjoyed all that came with it. Granted this was our first all-inclusive visit, but I don't know how it could have gotten any better. Can't wait to come back!!

People! Be careful with the food in this all-inclusive resort. Both my boyfriend and I had Hibachi in their Asian restaurant last night and went back had really bad diarrhea. I woke up 4 in the morning and can't continue sleeping because of the pain. At around 10:30am this morning we ordered room service for breakfast because we still did not feel good. And after the breakfast we both threw up and the diarrhea got worse. I'm so glad that I brought medicine from the US so we will not die here. Horrific food and can't imagine how dirty they were! Our flight back to the US is in 5 hours and we have no idea what should we do about ourselves Guys have to be careful with the food here. Everything else was good, but the food here is absolute beyond horrific, and they can definitely ruin your whole trip. Watch out please, and good luck!

I have been to this resort a dozen times and the last two stays showed me that this resort is no longer worth the expense. As the years have gone by they have simply realized that they can match the quality of the lowest quality all inclusives and still get people to stay there. The staff even commented that since so many people use points to stay, they can match the amenities of lower quality resorts and still profit. I have stayed in the same swim up suite for the last five years. This past February I arrived to find that they have removed the steam shower from the master bath (they didn't replace or repair the shower; they just ripped the unit out and caulked the space), they have removed the in room liquor and wet bar (they claim too many people were drinking too much so they did it for liability reasons), they removed the Bose sound system so there is no music in the suites unless you have a really good laptop, they removed the DVD players (which ruined my ability to show a wedding DVD; the reason for this trip), they removed the gaming system, the toilet was broken, the phone was broken, the AC never got below 76 in the room. Despite having the cabinet for room service delivery so you don't have to be dressed or greet staff, they now bang on the door incessantly for 10 minutes followed by multiple calls to the room so they can try and extract a tip from you. When checking in, the "interview" where they learn about your likes and dislikes so the room can be stocked to your liking has been stopped. The "Butler" service has been removed as well. The "non-smoking" property is no longer enforced and in fact ashtrays have been installed everywhere. Basically this is no different than any other all inclusive except they expect $700-800 a night for a basic room with no amenities added. When checking in, I selected a room for my travel companions directly above me so we could easily see each other. When they arrived they were put on the opposite side of the property with no explanation and no attempt to correct it. All attempts to fix the numerous problems in my suite alone were pathetic and band aids. In fact, the toilet was "fixed" by removing the wall plate for the push button controls and simply jury rigging a temp handle. This was a nightmare and I will NEVER return to this property

My stay was amazing! Beautiful rooms with ocean views and balcony. Top shelf liquor in room. Gorgeous beds on a white sandy beach. Entertainment, awesome pool area, plenty of places to eat, room service. Night pool parties with foam. Le Blanc gives it a run for the money, with cleaner architecture and atmosphere. But Zilara has a hidden gem that steals the show in my view. The cherry on top is Chef's Plate! Make sure to call ahead and make reservations to one of the finest dining experiences you will ever have. That is coming from a foodie that has been to a myriad of top rated restaurants including Eleven Madison in New York City. Will be posting my photos and review separately. Amazing place! Two incredible Chefs working in tandem, sensational dishes, desserts with shaved 24K gold.

My wife and I came here for a few short days and it has been great. We really like the hotel, restaurants, and especially the staff. Would highly recommend coming here. Make sure to make reservations at Asiana when you arrive at the hotel. It fills up quickly, but you don't want to miss it.

Went here for honeymoon in August 2017. Place was amazing. The staff make this place special because they do a great job at a high standard and they do deserve their tips. Every room has an ocean view and it does feel like paradise. Also it’s very easy to get a sun bed near the sea or pool. The gym and sauna is the best I have seen. Only disadvantage was probably the food because my wife is vegetarian and felt it was very limited. However, overall I would love to visit this place again and it was a great choice for honeymoon.

The most amazing piece of paradise. Recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing pampered luxury holiday.
The staff are so very welcoming, Carlos in particular was so entertaining and sincerely fun. David, Ivan and Gonzales (dream team) looked after us really well around the pool area, in fact every waiter/tress was helpful and eager to offer us drinks, even remembering our favourite tipple! always with a smile! The spice restaurant manager remembered our names and was so friendly, the waiters in there were all wonderful. The spa staff Perla in particular are amazing. We had 2 massages , the best we've ever had.
All in all the best holiday we have ever had and we will definitely be back!response / report this review -

The Hyatt Zilara was a true 5 star hotel. The staff was so friendly, I've never stayed somewhere before like this where I felt like the staff truly cared and were there for you. The food was amazing. You have to make reservations at Chef's Plate. Also, I highly recommend the smoked salmon omelette for breakfast. The foam party was so much fun! Best white sand beach! Even turtles were hatching when we were there. I got my nails done by Jacquelyn at the spa and she was so detail oriented, my nails look perfect. If you get a massage I suggest being inside in the air conditioning. Lastly, the new coffee shop was such a great atmosphere we stopped every morning for vanilla and caramel lattes. Delicious! The people who work here all deserve raises because they were all fabulous!

This is a fantastic hotel. The staff are all friendly and professional. The hotel itself is beautiful with plenty of amenities to suit anyone's needs. The food is outstanding at all of the restaurants. We stayed for a week and did not get tired of the selections offered. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Cancun.

The most luxurious and welcoming hotel we have been to! All service was top notch. The hotel is clean. The food and drinks were delicious!

I stayed here for a week and never had a problem. It was a graduation trip, so it was way nicer than any trip I would normally go on. I went to every restaurant except for The Chef's Plate ( you had to be some kind of Hyatt special member) and they were all amazing. All of the staff was incredibly friendly. The staff was always willing to help. There was constantly something to do at the resort so you weren't bored out of your mind if you didn't have plans for that day.

By far this resort provided great service! I would recommend this resort for anyone who's looking for a great vacation with family or friends. The staff here will wait on you and offer any and everything that you may need. They do provide daily activities which are free: tequila tasting, wine tasting, water aerobics, cooking classes, free Spanish lessons anymore! If you just want to relax you can do that as well down by the beach! The staff here have such a personality and even other guest that you meet are just overall friendly ! Gorgeous property in the Cancun resort zone. We love the staff, extremely friendly and accommodating. Always had unexpected little gifts when the room was serviced. You get to choose the types of pillows you want for your room. The pool is huge with tons of space and poolside cabanas. The beach bar with the swings facing the ocean is an awesome touch if you are beach side. The food is very good with a lot of variety to choose from. My wife and I will definately come back!

Awesome resort. Every room has an ocean view. Restaurants were generally very good. Drinks were strong. Requires you to wake up early in the morning to reserve a cabana which can be done by placing towels on the beds.

This hotel was the epitome of a vacation. We stayed in a swim up room. The views were spectacular. The service at every level and venue was impeccable. Our room had its own hot tub, private swimming pool at our doorstep, telescope, premium liquor stocked mini bar. Attention was paid to every detail of our comfort down to choosing our own pillows. The food was varied and high quality. We will be coming again. Highly recommend.

Very rarely do I give 5 stars, I usually can find something that needed improvement. I could not find 1 thing wrong with this resort. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic at all the restaurants and the staff made sure my drinks were never empty. I really liked the martini tasting. I can't wait to go back.

The rooms all look out over the beach front. The staff was excellent but bar service could get slow (there is only one poolside bar). Everything is centrally located and you do not have to walk far to get to anything. The food was excellent for an all-inclusive hotel. The atmosphere is quiet, if you are looking for a party I would suggest going elsewhere. The hotel has a romantic ambience. My biggest complaint was that our room started smelling like cigarette smoke, and despite informing the front desk, the situation only got worse. I believe the rooms are all non smoking, but our neighbors were smoking, and it fed in through the air conditioning. I really appreciated the coffee shop and well stocked mini bar. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would probably go back.
