Our first room next to the street was loud from the Cocobongo nightclub. Staff was very friendly and moved us to a different room. All was great after that.

In Fashion hotel is literally in middle of the main area. It is really convenient. We got the junior suite. The room was so big I couldn't believe. The tub was so big and the bathroom was so nice. The pool is in the middle of the hotel which was nice. Next to it is the Catch, which is one my favorite in New York. The only problem was there was a construction next door, and the drilling was going on from 2PM to 6PM non stop. I know it had nothing to do with the hotel, but it was unbearable. Literally the room had a slight shaking.
But the hotel was so nice to cancel our rest of the stay and give us a refund.response / report this review -

Surprisingly Quiet considering the location. Beautiful pool, clean and large rooms. Staff were fantastic !

The room is pretty big and clean. Nice shower. Good aire conditioner. A little bit noisy but this is the price u need to pay to be in the center.

I stayed at In Fashion Hotel in late August 2017. The hotel is ideally located in central part of Playa del Carmen, with direct access to La Quinta Avenida (Main Street). Service was great all along, for a very good price. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Very nice mattress. I would totally recommend this hotel for a good stay at a very affordable price compared to other resorts around.

Really bad place to stay. What ever you do they gonna charge you. My friends booked a room for two. But we ended up beeing three, so we asked to add a person. So far so good they said they charge me 35.- dollars what would be ok, if they would have gave me a matraze or something. But no I ended up paying 35.- dollars to sleep on the floor. And on top the next day they said they forgot the taxes so it was 43 dollars, to sleep on the floor. At night we went out and met some girls, what is i guess normal for a place like playe del carmen, so we called the hotel and asked if we can take them there. The answer was yes. When we arrived and went to the pool the security guard showed up and told us we have to leave or pay a 1000 pesos for each person. What a rip off, i mean c'mon playa del carmen and you are more conservative than the pope itself. All the water is from the ocean so salty and disgusting. Wifi leakes a lot and the pool on the roof is dirty. Workers are unfriendly. Don't stay here!!! Not worth the money. Just one street away is a hotel where you can stay for less than 40 dollars a night!!

Loved my stay at In Fashion! The hotel was so clean, crisp, fun, and comfortable. The hotel is right on the bar/club strip almost directly across from coco bongo. If you plan to go out and party a lot on your stay there is no other hotel more perfect than In Fashion. I stayed on the second floor where the pool and glass balcony overlooking the street is located. The hotel itself is quiet and has little movement due to that most people have literally partied all night and morning. My room was one of the closest to the front of the hotel (the street side) while I could hear the loud music in the hall once I closed the door the sounds became muffled. If you have an issue with the sound they do offer ear plugs and such, I'm a pretty heavy sleeper and didn't have an issue blocking out the sound as I was falling asleep. Throughout my entire stay the staff was extremely attentive, especially Manuel, who helped with bags and settling into our room initially. The hotel has breakfast passes to a restaurant right around the corner from the hotel which is super convenient and adds an extra touch to a hotel that's not as big as others in the area. You can really tell they are committed to customer service and personalization. They also have special partnership with a beach club which is a short walk down the street to the beach. Be aware that the street the hotel is on is pedestrian only! You will have to be dropped off the the corner of the street probably 20 yards away from the hotel so if you have lots of luggage I suggest you call ahead and have someone meet you the drop off street that is perpendicular to is kind of a busy one (coco bongo is right on the corner).
So all in all my stay was fabulous! I felt pampered, comfortable, clean, and really enjoyed being right in the middle of ALL THE ACTION - major location perk! La Quinta Avenda was 30 yards away with all the notable clubs and bars being either to the right or left as you walk out of the hotel and a great view from the balconies that over look the busy and fun pedestrian filled street!response / report this review -

THe service was impecabble. The two gentleman upfront were very polite and were really helpful with trips and food in Mexico.
It was very clean, although it does smell a bit of salt water but that is everywhere near the cost. Location was perfect, close to everything but at night it may be a little bit noisy because of the nice COCOBONGO club.
I would go back to this hotel in a few years.
Price was afforadable and fair.response / report this review
