Fantastic boutique resort with amazing service, food and amenities. The hotel is in a quiet area and not for anyone seeking a party, but rather luxury and relaxation. Definitely use the spa and their hydro therapy circuit. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. I love the swim up rooms.

The perfect all-inclusive resort for us. Relaxing with enough entertainment if you wanted it but never too much going on.
The room was clean, the entire property is meticulously maintained. Stayed in a casita with plunge pool, and it was fabulous. The plunge pool was bigger than it looked in pictures.
Good food, we liked that there weren’t too many options, that we could eat everywhere during our stay and not leave having missed out on restaurants.
We felt secure on the resort as well, there were a couple of gates to get into the Playa Mujeres area leading into the Beloved. If safety is a concern because of recent violence in the news, we factored that in and never felt concerned.response / report this review -

Everything was amazing. The service was top notch, and the food was great. The thing we loved most is how calm everything was. Though the resort was full, we didn't feel too crowded. No need for reservations anywhere, no long waits for anything, even the room service was pretty fast.

Fantastic stay at the Beloved by Excellence at Playa Mujeres. We stayed in their Junior Suite in the second floor overlooking the pool. The room was very spacious with marble floors and a king bed. The room includes a mini fridge and wet bar. Room service was wonderful and had a good menu selection. There are three common use pools on the property with one having a swim up bar. All of the bars had a great assortment of liquor and a few beers. Overall, we had a very relaxing stay at The Beloved. We were pampered from the moment we arrived at the door. We would definitely stay here again.

The best description that I heard was it is like a cruise ship without the boat and the number of people.
This is not your "spring break" Cancun hotel. It is quiet and quite relaxed.
The food was delicious, if you have a special request the chefs are willing to try their best to fulfill it. There are 4.5 restaurants on the premises each specializing in a different cuisine (Mexican, Mediterranean, Steak house, Mexican Seafood, and sushi bar).
The drinks where pretty good and the would use top shelf of you requested with no charge. One of our complaints was the only bars that stayed open late where either part of a restaurant or at the front of the hotel. Another complaint was that it would be nice if there was another bar towards the center of the resort. There is a smoothie bar but it doesn't have alcohol
For excursions the service the resort partners with is top notch. Most of the things that we did were very small group. So tours were more intimate and more informative (either historical or where to eat and what stands to avoid).
The pools where very nice and we'll kept. They never got more that 3.5 ft deep and where not open past 8 (unless you had a private pool).response / report this review -

The Beloved was EXACTLY what we wanted for our honeymoon! We loved the calm, quiet atmosphere. The resort was busy but we never had trouble finding a lounge chair or had a wait for dinner. Our Two-story Casita Suite was beautiful! The spa was unlike anything I have been to before and was probably one of my favorite parts. We also loved the swim-up bar at the pool, 24 hour room service, and the good selection of restaurants. The service and entire staff was excellent. It was such a relaxing trip! We hope to be back!

My stay at the Beloved Hotel was outstanding in all areas! The rooms, food, and service were of high quality. The Beloved has fantastic options on the resort, but because the rooms are so comfortable and relaxing, it was a challenge to leave the room and experience all the restaurants, pools, and activities that It offered. The service workers were all great; but would like to make special mention to Alex for being a great server around the pools and beach; and Basilio for his tremendous room service and overall happy and positive attitude! All the service workers were tremendous!

Honestly one of the most perfect places in the whole world. I'm never staying at any other resort in my life. The staff is INCREDIBLE. The food is delicious. The opportunities on and off the resort are endless. The grounds are stunning! The attention to detail is phenomenal. Cannot stress enough how perfect this place is.

Believe the hype about this place. It’s everything all of the other reviews have said, and then some. My wife and I went for our honeymoon and were treated like royalty.
The only qualm I have is how quiet it can be at times. If you’re energetic people, you may feel a bit stir crazy like we did.

Our first adults only, all inclusive vacation. Beautiful resort with spacious rooms that are welcoming. From the moment you arrive, you are catered to by friendly staff and bartenders. Food was out of this world amazing! The concierge and staff on the beach will greet you and keep you satisfied with drinks. Daily activities are available from cooking, tastings, beach front, you name it! It will be hard for us to find another resort that is as relaxing and top notch.

We came to Beloved for our honeymoon and loved it! It was peaceful and romantic, just what we needed after having a big wedding. Room service was amazing, I never expected the food to be delicious at 3am even salads were perfect! There are 4 restaurants on the resorts and you can go to them anytime you like. My husband and I did a spa day and it was very lovely. No children and no nudity. Very clean beach and pools are well kept. Staff was so kind and helpful that we couldn't help but tip them every chance we got! They treated us like royalty !

I had an amazing experience here. The staff is wonderful. the rooms are wonderful. I love all there is to do. there's such a wide variety of tasty foods and drinks. I didn't lack in the food department. It was such a great experience. I can't wait to go back.
The only thing I wish they would do differently is have rules against guests playing their own music on the beach. you sit pretty close to people. I went there to relax and I spent 2 of my days listening to people play music next to me. Music I did not want to hear at all. you can't read, nap or listen to the ocean. I really hope someone there reads this and takes it into consideration.response / report this review -

Unbelievable experience. We stayed four nights and it was not enough! We have traveled to several all inclusive resorts and always leave ready to go home, but The Beloved has a charm and welcoming atmosphere that you do not want to leave. You have to do nothing! The customer service is more than I could have imagined (even after reading how great it was). The food was great and the drink options and flavors were the best I have ever had.
Not only were the above mentioned wonderful, but the amenities and available activities were better than I could have ever thought they would be. The room was beautiful and the twice daily cleaning kept it beautiful. We upgraded our room to be by the pool and it was a great choice for us.
My husband and I do not typically revisit the same place, but we found ourselves looking at pricing and packages for this coming year. Looking forward to revisiting. Thank you Beloved for the best vacation we have ever had!!response / report this review -

Beloved is in a great, more remote location. Upon going thru a security gate, you drive about another mile then enter the gates to your relaxation palace. As we were getting out of the vehicle the concierge was pouring us each a glass of champagne. Check-in was expedient and courteous and we were then handed off to a bellman who gave us a tour of the amenities on the way to our suite. The grounds and buildings are beautifully maintained and the service is impeccable. We've eaten at all of the restaurants and haven't had a bad meal to especially include the great room svc menu. The staff are all very accommodating to any requests for changes/additions to your room stick. Definitely worth the price to come here!!

We come to Cancun every year. 1st time staying at The Beloved. Very nice. It's in a quieter part of the peninsula so if you love noise, crowds and parties, probably not the best choice. But, like us, if you want a more quiet and relaxed stay, this is a good choice. We had a beach Casita with a great location and view. The beach was ok, more seaweed than I would have preferred but they do a good job at cleaning it up several times during the day. I found the staff to be very attentive and friendly. At dinner 1st night my wife casually asked if they had fried plantains (they weren't on the menu). A few minutes later our waiter showed up with a platter of them. I thought the food overall was excellent and I liked the fact that you don't have to make dinner reservations - just show up where you want to eat that night. Overall it was a nice say and we would without hesitation visit this hotel again.

The place has gone downhill since we stayed here last year.
It was extremely OVERCROWDED, the service was bad, they catered and cared more about the "Caucasian service" over the minority's there.
The waiters and staff wouldn't even acknowledge me or speak to me.
For the price of more than $860 a night I would stay someplace else, closer to the hotel zone where there is more to do and LESS RACISM.
Extremely disappointed with the service and everything else has COMPLETELY GONE DOWNHILL.response / report this review -

The perfect vacation! This place is very relaxing and is not crowded. This is not a party resort. Everything is beautiful and the service is incredible. They offer a variety of delicious foods and drinks. They will even cooking you anything that is not on the menu. Lupita restaurant was my favorite. Orlando is a very attentive, kind, and funny waiter. Cristino is my favorite chef there! He cooked an amazing taco dish by request. They also offer light entertainment throughout the day including: bonfires, live music, white parties, and more. If we ever go back to Mexico, we will be sure to stay at the beloved resort!

So disappointed for the price we paid. This hotel advertises as a new adult resort. It is a 9 year old resort that has been converted to an adult resort September 2016. Have been to cancan many times and compared to other resorts this was not worth the money. Rooms are big and beautiful. Full size bottles of alcohol in your room. Service by the pool was very slow. Had to wait 30 mins to 1 hour. Food was salty, over cooked. Even the ice cream had ice in it no mater where in the resort I tried it. Had an opportunity to visit their sister resort Finest, you could see a dramatic difference in food and service. If the hotel can improve, this would be a nice quiet getaway. Beach is smaller than most resorts but they do a good job cleaning the seaweed.
