It is a good place to stay except for the noise in the night by employees. I couldn't sleep because of that. Also because breakfast is not included.
My friend visited me and she was staying there, cause it was the closest hotel to my apartment. If you ever stayed in an Ibiz you know what will you get. It is an okay hotel and always have free rooms. This one has some good restaurant around and in a great place in cancun, close to the plaza las americas and downtown buses.
Just OK accommodation.
Pros: cheap, in downtown, parking paid
Cons: difficult to find entrance, no room service by restaurant
Overall I would recommend it if you are a budget traveller
A good hotel which is clean and well priced. A bit further away from the Zona Hotelera, but you can have a nice walk there or get an inexpensive (for American standards) taxi. Service was excellent as were the recommendations made by the staff.
Exactly what you expect from an Ibis hotel: decent bed, aircon and modern enough plus decent price. The location was great and close to a mall. Plus had a small supermarket next door which was great. The bed might have been a little uneven which was my only concern but it was just one night. Room size was small but decent. Good parking price and service. Reception team were nice and friendly.
Price well worth it for the conveniences the hotel gives you: quiet rooms, clean facilities, staff is helpful, a market downstairs, etc.
We were in a pinch and needed to stay close to aquaworld in Cancun overnight for an early scuba dive in the morning. We booked a last minute room at this hotel and were surprised at how easy it was and how cute the room was! It was a great stay for a great price!
If you're not in Cancun for a vacation and aren't a high maintenance person, this is a good choice as a well located, convenient, minimalist hotel. It's good (not great, not awesome). A restaurant and bar on sight (both just ok, you're not in a resort). A nice supermarket and pharmacy next door is handy. Rooms are small with modern integrated furniture. Great for getting work done. However, no recliner, no ironing board. Good Wifi.
The rooms are very small and in a scary area. It was hard to find something good to eat. We weren't sure where we could go cause I didn't like the area. We were told it was a business district. I don't know any. Us Ines men who would stay there. I wouldn't recommend it. We were robbed by the ground crew at the airport. The guy there sent us to your place and charged us 45.00 American dollars for a cab ride. It's terrible to be stuck.
Website says there is a pool there was no pool staff was not friendly at all. I asked for ice because they do not have it complementary and it was a problem for them for just one cup. Would not recommend ibis!
Nice clean hotel with easy access to the airport and hotel zone. A mall across the street and lots of restaurants within walking distance. Hotel is conneted to a supermarket and other stores. Friendly and well trained staff. Room, bed and bathroom a bit small but common for this hotel chain. No fridge or safety box in the room and the window did not open. Over all a good stay though and I would highly recommend and stay again in the future.
The hotel is clean, met my expectations as an Ibis. The location is a 20 min walk from the middle of the city, however there is a shopping mall across the road which has plenty of restaurants, shops, a bus station, etc. Breakfast was adequate and simple. I would have liked more options at breakfast, but you get what you pay for.
I have stayed at Ibis properties in Jerusalem, Geneva, and now Cancún. Always what I'm looking for and that's why I search for them now. Taking the bus to the Zona Hotelera/Playa Delfines, is super cheap and quick if you don't mind figuring out local public transportation. I don't travel to fantastic destinations to be surrounded by my own kind (Not a thing wrong with that) so I like that it's off the main foreign tourist radar. If you prefer a little more adventure like I do, you'll love being in this area.
Great proximity to shopping and cheap delicious food.
As far as the hotel clean and comfortable. Perfect for me and light years ahead of some of the places I've stayed in Baja California
I originally stayed at a resort in the hotel zone but needed to stay one night at a hotel close to the airport. The reviews were decent and photos looked great so I decided on here. There were dirty towels hanging up in the room, left behind food, the shower head looked as if it were going to come out of the wall, the bed was unmade, a bag of dirty drawers left behind, an empty tube of toothed paste and a nasty dirty bench that smelled like mildew. I needed somewhere to sleep and got 0 sleep because I was so uncomfortable. The price isn't worth your comfortability.
Great pit stop for those who must go to the airport with good shopping center at 200 meters. ADO buses pass right in front of hotel direct at the airport (journey time 30 ') typical Ibis room, small, but clean. WIFI very good friendly staff.
Room size is moderate, just enough. No shampoo or soap. Towels are torn on side edge. Good thing is, Walmart is outside lobby, so you can buy everything. It's super cheap. Food is cheap too. Buffett breakfast is surprisingly good.
It's good to stay here if you are on a business trip. The service is quick and the rooms are clean. They believe in less wastage and hence have the minimum requirements you would want in a room.
