So fun! The pool was great, the beach isn't the best but it's still good. The food is great. The buffet was so helpful. The people there are so lovely and nice to. The bedrooms were nice to. They leave tiny chocolates on your pillow. It's close to some stores. But you will never need to go there, because you have everything at the hotel. This great family place!

I absolutely loved it!!! I am a traveler and this resort is one of the best resorts I have gone too. Reading the reviews I was unsure of what I was getting myself into. But the staff was professional it was clean and safe environment. Even though I am a pescatarian they had so many options for my diet. My children had such a great time. Finally, this is a resort that had plenty of seats so there wasn't a need to have to wake up supper early to grab one. My only con was the sea weed I am a ocean girl other then that I would recommend I can not wait to return!

This was a gift and we are truly grateful for the time we spent together.
Food was plentiful and service was mostly friendly. Some people may find their drinks flavorless. If you ask your drink to be made a specific way they will accommodate and you'll be fine. Maids stop at the room 3x per day and drink carts 2x per day although the drink cart rarely refills your mini fridge without your request. A phone call to the service desk for these drinks results in prompt replenishment. This is a wedding and family resort. Expect 3 weddings a day and to be asked to accommodate and leave various areas of the resort for staff to take pictures of the pools and before ceremonies. Sales pressure is very strong in many areas. After check in before evening events it's wise to avoid the front area and bar as you will be stopped for sales relentlessly. The resort feels like a fortress to those concerned about safety always best to travel in the main areas and with a partner at night. Ocean was not able to be swam in and dirty during our stay though they skimmed the beach multiple times a day.
I am a certified pest control technician and understand the realities of bedbug control in the hotel industry. When I realized I was being bit our second and third night I performed an inspection and found evidence of activity. I left the bed stripped with a cash tip and reported the situation discreetly to management. I was thoroughly disappointed with their response. They told us they would inspect the room and get back to us. I checked again 2 hours later and was told they inspected and cleaned but found no evidence. I showed my bites and expressed my discomfort and was sent to someone else across the resort. I explained to her the situation and she told me "bedbugs simply do not exist in Mexico". We were switched to a different, equal, room. When we returned to our original room to pack I found the room just as I'd left it with the tip untouched. They did not clean, inspect, nor likely enter the room at any point. This was completely unexpected as the service was otherwise friendly.
Overall enjoyed the variety of food and the friendly service. Will not return.response / report this review -

I just got back from the Dreams Riveria, first of its a beautiful property, the grounds are well kept, and beautiful. I read all the reviews prior to comming and seen some negative ones, and honestly the only negative I have to say was the buffet was not the best. The staff are very nice for the most part, very professional and make you feel at home. The pools are beautiful, as well as how maintained they keep everything and clean! Very impressive. The room service was not the best but the servers where amazing, such nice genuine people. The rooms where beautiful had a grand master suite where my parents stayed and I had a preferred club ocean view, love the rooms and how well they are kept, housekeeping I must say to always very polite and kind and on top of things! I loved the resort overall it was beautiful, and a overall good time it was a family of 4 and we all enjoyed ourselves! I would say I’d return but I love going and exploring different properties but would defiantly stay at a dreams again! Thank you.

This was a beautiful resort. I especially loved our ocean view room. The deck outside our third floor room had a beautiful view of the ocean, and my husband and I couldn't get enough of sitting out there at night. My husband loved the free room service, and we had some of our favorite food during our stay from the late night kitchen staff. All of the accommodations in the room were top notch! The grounds and main lobby were beautiful. The food in the restaurants was fairly good all around. My husband and I also a got couples massage at the spa, and while the actual message was great, we could hear absolutely everything that was going on outside, like dumpsters being rolled around and staff members talking. We were at the resort for a friend's wedding, and all of the wedding accommodations were stunning! All staff I interested with were extremely friendly, however you do have to immediately really to a vacation planned after checking in, which my husband and I didn't realize was going to happen. Overall this was a great stay!

Very Nice resort. We loved the world cafe cause it had many choices especially cause we had our daughter who is a bit a picky eater.The rooms were always clean and nice. The only downside was the presentation of the sister resort. The agents where pushy and quiet rude cause we refused to buy their membership, We were given a tour of the resort and premium stuff which the "membership" offered honestly it sounded like a time share. The membership began at $149,000 which my husband and i knew was not for us. Well between switching 3 agents they offered us a deal of $7000 but still this wasn't for us, Cause honestly we don"t travel much. We were both disgusted at how rude they we're cause we didn't want to buy it. Especially one agent who was an american guy, clearly if that was in the states that wouldn't fly! if a customer doesn't want to buy your offer, fine let it go! The agent rudely said someone will buy it! as if to say we are missing out on something so great.. On our return home i googled this so called membership and the reviews were shocking, most people wanted out! Thank God we felt it the membership was bit to pushy. I mean how can one commit to buying a membership right there on the spot? With no option of thinking about till the next day?

The Dreams Riviera Cancun was an amazing hotel. Beautiful grounds, pools, and rooms. The food was ok but I've found it's hard to get great quality food at an all inclusive resort. The beach was the only thing I was a little disappointed with. The water was very murky and there was tons of seaweed which was very unpleasant. Also there was quite a bit of trash floating around. The staff was very nice and helpful, most everyone we dealt with spoke English pretty well. While I probably won't return to this specific area, I would definitely stay in a Dreams resort again!

The facilities are nice, but the service was poor a few examples: they spray a huge cloud of insecticide directly next to an outside bar, the concierge is next to useless if you aren't spending more money, the wait staff has wierd rules about how they serve you, which makes things difficult at times, the large tractor making a racket during the otherwise serene sunrise. etc. Anyway, I'd recommend somewhere else, but if you do.stay here don't bother with the upgrade, you don't get any additional pleasure. The pool is nice and the open bars are sweet.

Beautiful facility. I have been to a few all-inclusive resorts. This is the most inclusive. Anything that you can think of is included: 24/7 room service, mini bar in the room, tons of small perks. Great place to stay.

This place is beautiful! Its larger than I previously thought, but not too large that you hate walking aroung. The beach and pools are beautiful, clean, well staffed. The rooms were clean, beautiful decor, and a decent size. I think my favorite part about this resort was their spa! It was very unique and had many service options.

I HAVE GOOD AND BAD FEELINGS ABOUT IT. I LOVE THE VIEW, THE CUSTOMER SERVICE, THE ENVIRONMENT AND RESTAURANTS WERE SO WONDERFUL. THE HARASSING NATURE OF THE "VIP" STAFF WAS A LITTLE OUT OF CONTROL. EVERY DAY MORNING AND NIGHT. WE WERE ON VACATION NOT TO BE BOTHERED. WE PAID FOR ONE ROOM AND GOT ANOTHER. THE BEACH VIEW WAS BLOCKED BY CONSTRUCTION, THE WATER WAS DIRTY, VERY DIRTY FULL OF TRASH AND PLASTIC WRAPPERS. I FOUND IT DISGUSTING. THE PRIVATE BEACH WASN'T PRIVATE AT ALL, THEY LET ANYONE IN THERE THAT WANTED TO I FOUND THE MAID STAFF GOOD ON THE FIRST DAY BUT NOT CONSISTENT THE ENTIRE 5 DAYS. THE WAIT STAFF ON THE OTHER HAND WAS WORTH THE WHOLE TRIP.

This resort is a nice well kept resort. It's all inclusive, the food and drinks are on par with similar priced all inclusive resorts. The nightly shows they put on were fun for the whole family. The pools are the perfect temperature with heaters for cooler months. The beach beach was nice and the infinity pool had a good view of the ocean. The kids club was a real hit for our 6 year old. He was actually asking to go each day. This place had more of a relaxed vibe and felt more in tune with the natural surroundings. The staff was very friendly. Overall I'd recommend this place for a reasonably priced family vacation.

This resort is a very nice luxury resort. It's all inclusive, the food and drinks are on par with other luxury all inclusive resorts. The swim out rooms are great for families. The diamond club upgrade is nice and gets you access to additional pools and private beach area. The nightly shows they put on are first class and fun for the whole family. The kids pools are perfect with slides for the bigger kids and wading pools for the little ones. The beach did have a lot of seaweed though. This resort was only a few years old when we went so it was in excellent condition. Overall I would recommend this place for a family vacation.

The all inclusive resorts is pretty spectacular. The food has been consistently amazing - the best Chateaubriand I have ever experienced. Rooms are high luxury as well as all other amenities. Only drawback so far is the little kids in the adults only pool. Was really hoping for some adult only time even at a family friendly resort. We used bookvip for our trip - worth every penny, will use them again.

Nothing of what we expected from an all inclusive! This place is unlimited and amazing. No wrist bands. Unlimited and very well made drinks and healthy food. Spectacular room. Friendly and helpful staff. Ok It's time to go swimming. Come to this place! You will not be disappointed. 💟💟💟😎🍻

Certain things about this hotel are phenomenal - namely the service and the staff. The food was above average - we really enjoyed the variety of restaurants and all the different types of food. The rooms are a mixed bag. We had one room the first night and it was a double bed in a room toward the reception area (facing west). That room was dark and dreary and had a lot of noise. We switched the next day to a king size room (with a teeny view of the ocean); this room faced north. So much brighter and quieter. Had we not changed rooms, I think our opinion would be different. Oh, the pools were super nice too. Do the bike ride to Puerto Morelos!

My husband and I were married at Dreams Riviera Cancun in February 2016. I was a little apprehensive about the entire experience as I was unsure what to expect; it can be a little scary to not see and taste a lot of parts of your wedding day. It was WONDERFUL! We had a moderate wedding with minimal "add ons." The details of the wedding and the wedding day were beyond my expectations. The bouquet was gorgeous and very well made. They staff took care of everything and surpassed my expectations. They provided champagne in glasses immediately after the ceremony which I did not know about. The food was amazing and I am a bit of a food snob. I wanted a simple, elegant cake and I was unsure how it would turn out (again, not seeing it ahead of time); it was perfect! I would have no hesitation in recommending Dreams Riviera Cancun to anyone wanting a gorgeous, stress-free wedding experience!
