Decent Hotel with decent rooms for the price. Location is ok with 20+ minutes walk or 90 pesos by taxi to city centre. It probably was a five star hotel, but due to lack of maintenance, it’s not any more.

Hotel serves breakfast and lunch but no restaurant or bar at the hotel. Restaurants and a small store is about 10min walk away.

Staff is friendly and helpful, but if you don’t speak Spanish language is an issue for other than usual/simple matters.

18 hole golf course just alongside the hotel.

Even though this hotel pretends to be a 5 star -it is way far fetched. The rooms are great, but service is really poor. Showers don't work, hottub is cold, pool is small and dirty, no dining/bar options, front desk is lousy and it is in the middle of nowhere (I can go on forever). No form of transportation provided to the downtown and back and it is way off. Feels like this hotel where the old and lazy people come to die. (((

The service was really good! The rooms were okay. It's a five-starred hotel, but the interior is kind of old and the rooms is in need of an upgrade. Though they we're really big! The breakfast was OK, nothing extraordinary. The Wi-Fi was fast and worked as it should. I'm satisfied, but not blown away.

This is a nice Hotel but when we went there was some flooding in the lobby due to the major rainstorms. It has a nice free breakfast which is great. The pool is a bit small.

Good quality of accomodation and breakfast, but minus one star for location. On google maps it's look like quite close to beach, but only way is very long (about 2-3 km) and you won't go with by foot. Need a car or taxi.

This beautiful hotel is a 10 minute walk from downtown playa del carmen giving you the feeling you have a huge mansion all to yourself but still close enough to the beauty and night life of playa. The huge room was clean and comfortable with air-conditioning and a big spa bath and the included buffet breakfast was delicious. With a nice pool/bar and free fast wifi this place is an excellent choice

This resort spa and hotel is gorgeous and would absolutely recommend this place to my family and friends. Great get away, peaceful, good people, great food, spectacular waters. Very romantic city.

This hotel is located in a private neiborhood. Breakfast is really good and has many different options. Rooms are clean, however they did not clean our room one of the days we stayed there. So, we had to ask them to do it. Then, on the last night we stayed there a lady opened the service door in our room while we were sleeping (at around midnight). Luckily, my husband woke up and she shut the door quickly. We called the front desk and they basically said it was our fault for not locking up that door. I will not be staying at this hotel ever again.

Interesting hotel, it's an old 5 star hotel that bankrupt (I think) but the Eurostar is holding it's a float. It's in a good shape but need some cosmetic intervention in the rooms. The location is best if you are looking for a quiet place, all around you is a golf club with private property. It's 15 min walk to the beach and to the center of Playa. With a car and for someone looking for a quiet place it's 5star value for money.

I love it. Hotel is comfortable and affordable. It is located in a private area of Playa del Carmen. It's also close to La Quinta Ave. The complimentary breakfast is really good. Spa is a must to go. Overall good experience.

The hotel is really nice and very quite. It is not too far from the village and you reach this one by walk. The only negativ point: the hotel doesn't offer dinner and you need to go out side to eat or to buy something in the close supermarket. For lunch you need to wait till the restaurant will open (there is no a fix time) and cocktails are very limited because they don't have all drinks there. The Breakfast is ok. All employees are very friendly and Alberto (an employee of the hotel) was really nice and ready to help us with all requests. Another negative point is that the hotel is not close to the sea and it is not really easy to go thereyou have to go in the 5th avenue to have access to the easy. All hotels area are privat area and you are not authorised to use their privat street to go to the sea ( you need to walk min. 20 minutes in order to reach the sea).

The room has a good and comfortable space but, they need to be renewed. Some of the furniture was dirty and look really old. The bathroom doesn't have too much light and the shower keeps throwing water outside the tub and there is not you can do about it. The outside looks really nice. The reception desk it very nice too but very often there is only one person try to deal with more them 4 task at the same time.
