The blue bay was an amazing experience for us. The people are so welcoming with smiles always on they're faces. The first day we arrived the bell boy Jose was extremely hospitable. He showed us to our rooms which we were extremely grateful for because we were extremely overwhelmed, being our first time out of the country in a foren place. ( Mexico is so awesome!!) And so is Jose's contagious smile! Thank you Blue Bay 😁😁

Stayed from Feb 21-28 & this place was awesome. Pools are excellent with lots of lounge chairs. The beach although beautiful does need to be cleaned of seaweed more efficiently & rocks are not pleasant underfoot.
The staff were amazing and went out of their way to welcome you & always had a friendly smile & laugh. Antonio in particular at beach bar was awesome & he never stops!! The maid service was excellent. The front desk ( at check in & check out ) were not polite or professsional. The girl upon check out never thanked us or asked us if we enjoyed our stay, & was quite abrupt. Not a good send off for such an excellent resort.
    I would definitely come back!!!

Excellent hotel. Staff were great. The only minor issue was how often the carts went around the resort. It was faster to walk places them wait for it. Food was the same everyday but overall it was a great experience

The hotel is great and the food is excellent. The staff however are amazing! We are veteran Mexico travellers and this hotel blew us away. The restaurant staff is particularly impressive. Victor and Louis, took the time to make my daughter's origami out of the local vegetation and teach them s Spanish. Very friendly and genuine people. Highly recommend.

Stayed in building 6. Amenities were pretty good and food at some restaurants was excellent, such as Mexican and Italian. Seafood restaurant fell short of expectations. Pools were clean and well kept, atmosphere was pleasant and fun. Servers were always ready to get another drink, especially Bailey's in the mornings. Snack bar and Festival buffets were easy going and clean, although some food had clearly been sitting a while and some of the food wasn't as flavorful. Overall a good experience, although I may choose another all inclusive in the future. Some other guests had been recurring for 7 years and said that recently the resort had gone down hill.

Overall, great place. Food is good, staff are nice, and a good area to walk around. Other people who stay there are nice as well. Nice little drink area for you to watch the news or play a game. Wildlife around there is nice. Good shows in the evening as well. All in all, I strongly recommend it.

We had an amazing trip at this resort. The staff are so friendly, and the activities and entertainment is like nothing we've seen at other resorts. The nightly entertainment is such high caliber, the dancers and performers are costly professionals. The all night bar is awesome an and they have top shelf liquor.

The food is great and there is tons of choice. The restaurants are delicious- Mexican and french were our favorites. The beach is long so there is lots of space. There is a beautiful lagoon for swimming only a 10min walk away.

The vibe is great at the pool, if you like a vibrant and fun atmosphere. Before we came we read poor reviews that the beach sucked and there was too much walking at this resort. However, we stayed in the furthest building and timed our walks. It only took 7 minutes to walk to the beach, and 3 minutes to get to the restaurants.

If you have an injury then they have little shuttles to take you around. Otherwise I think the people complaining are just lazy. It's beautifully spread out so that you always feel like you're in a secluded tropical paradise!

Decent room. Good variety at the buffets, restaurants are pretty good. The pool is big with lots of activities. Beach has tons of chairs but there isn't much sand before the water and the water is very cloudy with lots of rocks.
Overall good resort for the money.

The hotel is nice, but it needs a little TLC around the pool. The staff is amazing, and they do their best. Stay away from the Travel Club. They start by saying they aren't a Time Share, but it sure seems like it.

Location is about 45 minutes from the airport. Rooms are great, very clean, quite spacious. The cleaning staff cleans the rooms daily and creates the coolest animals with towels for you. Service is excellent, very friendly staff. Food is pretty good, you have to book each dinner 1 day before hand which got to be a little annoying however they do try to make it quite accessible.

Came here with family and friends. Check in took close to an hour in a very hot lobby with no A/C. The customer service during check-in and check-out was awful. I have traveled to a few all inclusive resorts and have never been so disrespected in my life. A man by the name of Jorge stated it was simply because I was American. The food was average but we expected that from buffet style. Wait staff for the food was always super nice. The pools and views were all very nice I would just recommend upgrading their customer service in the lobby.

Currently staying at this resort. Upon arrival we realized that we had to wait more than 2 hours to actually get our room. The lobby area was extremely hot due to the fact that there was no A/C. However, Victor was really helpful in directing us on which restaurant to eat for lunch. Overall the food is good, it got boring after the 3rd day. The pool is nice but you have to wake up early and "save" your spot if you want a shaded area. You do have to walk a lot but the scenery was nice.

This place was okay, nothing special. The beach was very small and very murky, we didn't even get in because it looked too nasty. The pools were great, but there is very little areas where you can sit in some shade. The pools also close at 7 for chemical cleaning, even though workers will pour the chemicals in at 5 when you're right next to them in the water, and the staff will come take away any volleyballs or other resort activities for the pool around 2. There's also going to be people trying to sell their excursions packets to you while you are sitting and trying to relax by the pool. The food was good, but you had to make reservations for dinner the day before. If you didn't make a reservation then you were stuck eating at the buffet with no a/c which was overbearingly hot. For breakfast and lunch there was another buffet, but there's no a/c, we opted for sitting at the outside tables(because it was cooler) where the waiters waited till you were done eating to bring the drinks, instead they stood there talking to each other. Our group also had multiple rooms throughout building 4, which 3 of the rooms had no working a/c in their rooms. I won't be returning unless someone drags me here

So far our trip has been amazing. Service has been great! With the exception of the front desk the staff have been so helpful. Front desk I found to be lacking in the customer service

Hotel is amazingly clean, super well maintained for how much greenery there is. We are getting married here at Blue Bay and our wedding consultant Lucero (Lulu) Ruiz is an absolute treasure to this resort. Fantastic work, you guys should be incredibly proud to have her on your team, thank you for making our special day even more amazing!

Excellent place for vacations, delicious food, nice staff, fun all time everywhere.

    About the MEMBERSHIP!

The only thing I did not like it is that my membership does not give a better price.
And the finance guy is not a nice guy (Enrique).

Enjoy the place, but I don't suggest to buy the membership.
High price but not a real benefit, unless you plan to go there, same place for vacations for 30 years.

When you walk in, they immediately try to get you to go to their breakfast for newbies to get you to commit to using only their resorts in the future. That's fine and all, but when we declined it, they literally flagged us down every single day to try and talk us in to going. It was INFURIATING! Our second to last day, the guy swooped in on us and when we said no and walked away, he followed. We explained that we had to use the rest room and catch the shuttle for our tour that day and he literally chased my husband to the bathroom. Unbelievable. No one wants that on their vacation! We know our minds and we know what we want and don't want. I am so mad we had to feel like we were hiding from the police on our vacation! Also, I would have preferred to have a resort where the beach was the main feature. The beach here is sort of a lousy afterthought. Everywhere is such a long walk and challenging to find. I was personally very turned off by how much walking we had to do constantly. You have to make reservations for dinner a day in advance but the food is excellent. Surprisingly good. The resort is a nice quality with beautiful landscaping. So there are ups and downs. But if you want to be left alone on tour vacation, forget it.
