The room was okay and had very close proximity to the beach. The cleanliness was good as well. The food left a lot to be desired; some unsanitary ways of handling some products during a bbq night were concerning. The worst part and the reason why i gave the hotel one star was because of the seaweed issue. I chose to stay here so I could swim And access the ocean; this was difficult due to the amount of seaweed obscuring the access. The sea weed also have a very pungent Oder that carries all over the venue. The smell is so bad that it made me nauseous. As you can see from the photos it is a huge issue.

I loved this resort and it was pretty good for such a cheap price. i didn't really like the food. The staff is very nice. They are amazing. The ocean is very clean and they clean it everyday. when we went to our hotel room, it smelled like a dirty wet towel so we moved to another room. we figured that the rooms upstairs were new and rooms downstairs were old. Overall it was a Great experience!

Lovely resort. Staff were great. Food was good variety especially for kids, not to die for food but tasty. Kids loved kids club, but definitely not the cleanest place In there, but you are also at the beach and kids may go in there straight from the beach with sand etc. Only one adult for the kids club, but my son was asking to go back. I would definitely go back again. Lots of seaweed the week, but that is not the hotels fault, it's from the tides blown in.

Not bad for a 3 star resort and my first time to Mexico, food was edible, room was clean and nice size, bed was so so, no chair in room to sit down on. Don't expect to have anything fixed or replaced if broken tho. Hair dryer went up in flames so went down to ask for another one, it never go replaced. Asked for a safe but was given a lock that did not go on the safe we had in the room, went down to front desk to give it back and they said they would send someone up to let us change the password, waited over an hr but no one showed up so we left the room and canceled the it. Other than that the staff was, for the most part, very friendly and accommodating. Beach was amazing and clean. Some cool entertainment also. All in all I enjoyed myself.

If you come knowing that you are not going to be in the hotel zone then you will have a great time. The beach is small and does have some seaweed but they clean it up well. The staff is great! Vanessa in the kid club was wonderful to our boys. By the third day the restaurant folks new what coffee and drinks we wanted. The cleaning staff was great, leaving us towels folded like birds and hearts. The kids loved the water park. The pool was great.
Things I didn’t like. Only being able to reserve dinner the day of at any special restaurant. The pressure from the folks selling time shares. If I say no, I meant it. The front desk rarely had change smaller than 50 pesos. I don’t want to leave 50 peso tips all week. I tip well, it I’m not dropping 50 pesos for every little thing.
Zero complaints about staff. Food was as fine - not out of this world but perfectly fine for what we paid for 7 days. The 23 year old staff member with braces who was doing casino night was hilarious. Had no idea how to play blackjack but he was funny!! The concierge, Javier, was great. Spent a lot of time explaining what is good for and not good for kids.
Recommendations: unless you are swimming with the dolphins, no need to take the boat to isle Mujeres. Do the flea markets in the hotel zone. Slightly more on cost but way less pushy shop keepers than Market 28. Hotel offers on site babysitting for $10 an hour (this is outside the kids club which is included. Can’t leave the resort while kids are in kids club. If you pay the hourly sitter fee you can leave. )
All in all, one of the better trips to Cancun.response / report this review -

The place is old and in need updating. The food was below average. Could not use the beach way too much sea weed. If you don't stay for the presentation, then the staff become very rude. Several time the dishes were dirty, the coffee did not taste like coffee, the drinks were weak. WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN, NOR WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

Food quality can be better & more variety of course. Had to fight over what I had paid for. I was being given a downgrade at check-in. The waterpark was much fun though.

This a last minute get away. It was perfect. Like any hotel it can always better but can complain. This hotel resort had everything I needed from pool side to ocean side views, food, activities and shows. Will definitely come back..

My husband I were there for a couples conference and we were very impressed with the accommodations of this resort. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room and all the area in the hotel was clean and very pleasant to be in. Their food that was offered in the dining area and the snack bar was delicious and plentiful. There was absolutely nothing that we could have complained about. The beach was right outside our hotel room. There was even a hammock for us to relax in on our back patio. We definitely will make plans to return.

Meh For me but it is up to you this hotel is right by the beach and you can pickup great drinks right there at no extra cost plus the bar is always open Sadly that about it the staff are "GOOD" (if you tip them) and there wifi only in the lobby there are some people trying to sell you stuff outside (well it is Mexico ) but there are really nice people I'd you look right Be prepared to spend money for some trip outside the hotel because after the first day you realize other then the beach and the food there is nothing to do in the hotel

They have the worst service ever. When we arrived the beds where full of bed bugs and dust, we didn't realize this until we where trying to sleep on them. At the end of our stay the brutally kicked us out. They didn't inform us that the check out was so early and they didn't offer any correct solution for us. They held our baggage hostage until we paid a late check out fee. I called best day, because I bought the vacation package with them, but they totally cut me off and told me to handle the situation with the hotel. So I ended up paying the fee and getting kicked out with my three daughters and wife.

My family and I (altogether 4- two kids and spouse) just returned from Cancun, Mexico on a six day vacation. This was our first time there. We throughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel / resort and all the recommended tours. The food was great, activities were well organized and synchronized, the staff were excellent and very friendly and the services were terrific. The rooms were well kept, maintained and any request was handled promptly. The prices were quite reasonable. My family and I look forward to going back and staying there again, perhaps for longer duration. Busari

The place needs to be actualized, as far as technology goes, and needs to be able to accomodate large groups when required. The quality of the food can be improved and they should offer more food options. The A/C system should be a priority. On three different days we had problems with the A/C. We really enjoyed the aquatic park and the lady that cleaned our room was great. The entertainment team also did a great job. It's definitely kid-friendly, but its always good to keep an eye on your kids.

Everything here is very convenient especially if you have some sort of all inclusive pass. The rooms are easy to find, the beaches are nice, the water park is fun and easy to find, and the food is always available ( it's pretty good as well ). Everything here is really nice. The only thing I was hoping for was a bigger water park area. There are more slides than actual pools. Overall my experience here has been a dream!

Family friendly resort and very affordable! You get what you pay for, its very inexpensive, so people who are expecting 5 star plus should be looking elsewhere, and expect to pay a lot more! Staff is friendly and super accommodating, stayed here with my 4 kids and we all had a blast! Small beach area where you can keep an eye on your kids, water park with waterslides and free kids club if Mom and Dad want a break from the kids for a couple hours or all day 10am-5pm! Buffet and a couple restaurants to choose from if you make a reservation. Overall fun family experience!

The staff is friendly food is good always entertainment. Beach is wonderful. Between the kayaking an mini golf water park lots to do an the night time entertainment. Very good place to stay I'll come back. An the bartenders are ready to serve you at anytime an put in a good show as well.

There's so much potential with this resort. The staff were amazing and the overall upkeep of the resort was descent. Food wasn't bad but not great. It's a smaller resort so it wasn't overcrowded even though the resort was full. It was not a 5 star resort so I expected some challenges. Overall it was still a great vacation.
The cons: The beach is unfortunately very small and was overtaken by seaweed when we were there. The water park is really good but unsupervised. Lots of water slide collisions because nobody is managing flow of people going down the slides and waiting for the landing to be clear. The overall park was fun with lots of things for kids to do.response / report this review -

Is advertised as a place for families with kids but you can hardly find any food for the kids unless they will like to eat hot dogs 3 times a day, bad food, they put hot dogs in all their dishes, in the soups, they call sausage with vegetables but is sliced hot dogs with vegetables, no fresh fruits like apples, oranges ,pears ,grapes ,only bananas or sliced melons and them are old too.Their specialty Restaurants ,Mexican, International and Italian are a JOKE.I went to the Mexican and to the International and it was enough for me, I did not go to the Italian one, I was sick of it. They feed you same food every day and is a very poor menu.I will never go there,we had a bad experience there with the rooms too.
