Great location, very convenient. Great rooms has a pool and gym. It also offers free buffet with your stay. Not like regular LQ Hotels in the US this is more trendy and upscale definitely.

We stayed in the hotel during our family vacation in Cancun. LQ is a brand new hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are clean with plenty space including balcony.
The hotel included the breakfast buffet the food was fresh and delicious. It included lunch meals like chicken, meat, sausage, potatoes, beans, tortilla , etc, etc every morning it was a different menu. We had a very good meals before to head out for our tour.
The staff in the front desk and in general all staff were very friendly, nice, and attentive. One of the guys in the front desk who is in charge with the tours plans helped us offering a various tours . We took the Chi Chen Itza. It is amazing place to go. You can not missed.
In overall I really recommend this hotel. The price is reasonable. The hotel have a good location. It is few blocks waking to take the bus to the main Ave towards the beaches, resorts, stores, etc.
Also there is a mall a few blocks away from the mall. In front of the hotels are diferente restaurants if you want to tried local foods.

Could not have asked for a better hotel! Very clean, room as expected and cleaned daily, powerful a/c, fast wifi, no problems with shower hot water, very nice daily breakfast buffet, great and safe downtown location! The front desk staff were AWESOME --- seriously the most helpful smiling people you could hope for. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay downtown - close to plaza of the americas and close to the buses to the hotel zone.

La Quinta is a decent hotel but is a little dirty and old. The furniture is okay but rooms are small and the toilet was leaking. TV has many inappropriate channels but AC works fine. Overall an okay hotel and suitable for short stays.

Clean and comfy rooms. But the staff are hustlers and crooks. You can have a fine stay here, just dont let the staff get you cabsin fact walk several blocks down. Lots of good safe cab drivers in Cancunbut the ones out front of the hotel are in on the scam with the hotel employees.

La Quinta Inn checked us in early (thank you!) and they have nice rooms. The air conditioning works and the beds are comfortable. A bottle of water is provided in your room and there is a water cooler in the lobby area to fill water bottles. We did have a room next to the elevator and could not hear the elevator at all. Two complaints: the walls are so thin you can hear people talking in the next room. Unfortunately this makes for a poor night's sleep, which is not good when you have a long day of traveling ahead of you. The wi-fi connection was not consistent.

First off I'd like to thank, jose manuel for the $60 tickets to Coco Bongo, isabel and adidai for the excellent front desk help and monica for helping us in the parking garage. Excellent location for a hotel, 10 minutes from everything and a 10-minute walk to the bus stop that will take you to the hotel Zone and Coco Bongo for nightlife.

Clean rooms and a friendly, helpful staff. I've stayed here collectively for 4 days and the experience is consistently great. The breakfast buffet is above the norm with a good selection of fresh fruit, quesadillas and assorted local food as well as a waffle station. Some other meals can be made to order for an additional charge.
On my most recent visit, they had an electrician sawing into the hallway ceiling to make repairs - although when we complained to the front desk, he stopped.response / report this review -

Big rooms, big bed (good hardness - felt excellent on the back), good bath - absolute recommendation. In contradiction to other reviews I loved the breakfast. Really: it hasn't this standard slices of cheese and sausage for bread, as in Europe. But we are in Mexico - and it has all the mexican classics at it's best! I really loved it, but I like this Mexican style with tortillas, spicy salsas etc.
