Small, but big for Tokyo. In party district so expect clubs outside with people trying to get you in there (worth it for its location though) all round good with the only negative being the bed is quite firm, which would be alright if not for the rock hard pillows. Legit think it's filled half with rice with slight padding on one side.
This hotel is conveniently situated in Shinjuku (Kabukicho), not far from Isetan and the Shinjuku 3-chome Tokyo metro station.
We were staying with a 1 year old baby. A baby bed was available.
For laundry, the hotel has self-service washing machines.
Breakfasts were very good, with lot of choices, including both Japanese and western dishes.
The front desk was very helpful and helped us to fill in the ta-q-bin forms for dispatching our luggage to the next hotel.
The breakfast was ¥ 1600 (regular) per person and for costumers of the hotel ¥ 1300 and it was spectacular. Combining Japanese food and American . Huge selection
Staff was mostly polite. Place is clean and breakfast selection is adequate. Awesome location with udon restaurant and Lawson convenience store just right downstairs. This hotel even has a currency exchange vending machine!
Great customer service! The staff initially made a small error with our breakfast tickets (we booked through Expedia), but they immediately corrected it when I brought it to there attention. The room was in perfect condition every single day and we used the no detergent required laundry room before leaving so our clothes were set for the week when we got home. The staff was also helpful with directions.
The staff spoke great English, and provided very friendly service. It was easy to ask for restaurant reservations, luggage forwarding, and even luggage storage while I was out sightseeing. It is very conveniently located in the Shinjuku station area, although the lobby is on the third floor and can be easy to miss.
Citadines is a 10 min walk from the JR Shinjuku station, and a shorter walk from the metro Station exits. I recall B5 and E3 being some of the nearby ones.
The staff was very friendly and the room was small but clean. My room had a large modern bathroom. Unfortunately, because of the location, the police sirens were loud and clear on most nights. Otherwise, it was fairly quiet within the room. I enjoyed my stay.
Convenient Place and is a interesting area with lots of night life. There are 3 Convenient Stores nearby to offer you food choices at a low price. Thanks
Rooms are clean and trim although slightly small. The breakfast spread is also amazing. The service was top notch as well. Definitely coming back.
PS. It's right in the middle of Kabuki-cho, Shinjuku's night life district!
This hotel is amazing. We stayed here for our first trip to Japan. It was in the heart of Shinjuku. A great spot for getting anywhere in the Tokyo metro area. The room was small but adequate. The bathroom is amazing. Also, the 'east-west' breakfast spread was awesome! Definitely looked forward to that every day.
