A nice hotel next to the train station and within walking distance of the beautiful city centre. My room was spacious and well furnished. The furnishing and bathroom was clean, although slightly dated. Breakfast was good and the personnel was very helpfull.

Excellent location right next to Firenze main station, friendly service, nice rooms and very affordable prices. You can reach all main attractions of Firenze just by walking and there's lot of nice restaurants near by, as well as fast-food places.
Busy intersection just next to hotel can cause some noise (italians aren't shy using their car horns).
Excellent choise when visiting great city of Firenze!

I tried booking with this hotel via various online sites and received so many contradictory answers as to whether I had a reservation that I ended up staying at an AirBnB. Then Hotel Palazzio charged my credit card as a no-show. I received no confirmation email in the days immediately prior to the date I had booked so this added to the overall confusion. NOT GOOD

Absolutely loved staying here - as nice as a hotel but with the convenience of a kitchen/fridge etc. The best location too - slap bang in the centre of town.. Fantastic.

Pros: close to the train station, the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful - and spoke fluent English (as did the vast majority of Italians we met)

Cons: close to an area where buses and mopeds park so it was quite noisy with the balcony doors open.

We would stay here again though we would probably request a room away from the street. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to any of my family or friends.
