Beautiful lobby, great location convenient to SMN train station, friendly service The rooms (even for my "premium room") are small.. but the bathroom was big. I loved the bathroom.

Very nice hotel with a great location. The rooms were recently refurbished, and are very nice and spacious. The staff is very friendly, the food was nice, and the view from the roofop pool is incredible!

Absolutely wonderful hotel and staff. Some may laugh at me, but this is the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. It's a medium walk (15 minutes) to all the tourist sites and the view from the room is impressive - obviously you'd need to get a room with a view of the church and/or courtyard.
I would have no hesitation staying​ here next time I visit.response / report this review -

As soon as you arrive the staff are lovely and very accommodating. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and the bed is very comfy. There are lots of facilities and the view overlooking the square is beautiful as the sun sets. I would return in a heartbeat.

This should be a 5 star hotel.
Location is spot on.
Food is really good.
Service and staff is absolutely perfect.
They are very friendly! We arrived with a rental car and the host at the reception offered to call the Rental Car Company (Ecovia) to arrange for us to return the car in Florence. He (I'm sorry, I forgot the host's name) also provided us with a city map, he outlined and explained where we were and gave us tips to get around .
The breakfast is delicious! Varied, nice and abundant. If you're going to stay in Florence, this is probably the best place to stay in.response / report this review -

Dec. 2, 2016. Checked in with my wife and baby yesterday after a long drive from Amalfi Coast. Know that the hotel is going through major renovations, and because of this they will comp you the mini bar in the room daily; but don't expect silence during the day.
Had an issue with the bedding, as there was a pin/needle on the top cover that prickled our baby..(not very fun). The night attendant must of been shocked when I told him, so he just took note and left it. The next day, Stefano Fusaro, the Room Division Manager, offered a very sincere apology and took care of us, but more importantly, told me that they will check with the laundry service and house keeping to prevent this happening to someone else.
Accidents and issues happen from time to time, though how one reacts to them defines true character. I was impressed by Stefano and the way he handle the issue. Thanks!response / report this review -

Good location. Just minutes away from the train station. Services were decent. Only reason this would get four stars and above is room size is small. Our room only has one small window opening into an open courtyard. Have two sky light window which could not close. The biggest drawback is the size of the bathroom. A good choice for location but probably need to pay up to get better room.
