Nice hotel. Great location near the Duomo and shops. Rooms are small. Concierge could be a little friendlier.
Great hotel with a fantastic location. Upscale but affordable and unpretentious
This is a terrible experience. I got a small room compare last year stay the same hotel with the same room rate. Very disappointed this time. I had great time last year, so I decide to come back against. Besides, we go a Room with very strong perfume smell. After few hours, it become strong smoky room. I have a kid, I can't believe hotel arrange this room. Please don't just say, sorry the room is full. You never know what you will loose if the customer is very disappointed.
This hotel has lots of character (our room was huge and the bathroom was spacious with great lighting) and the location couldn't be better. The staff was very accommodating and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
We stayed in two different rooms here. Our first room on floor 2 was very small for our triple room. but with a very nice bathroom. After a day I asked if we could possible move into a larger room since I had noticed a couple around us were a bit bigger. They placed us into the family apartment, which is amazing. Two full rooms and an excellent amount of space for us. The bathroom had two showers even. No noise from outside in either room. Very very great service every time we've had to deal with the front desk, printing train tickets or asking about recommendations. The breakfast has been wonderful also. Our only disappointment has been no hard boiled eggs, just scrambled. The cappuccino in the morning even has a smiley face each day. The location is perfect for walking to any location around Florence and also for walking to from the main train station.
Well run classy hotel. The location is perfect for site seeing.
Beware, if you are a light sleeper, there is a very high chance you will get minimal sleep due to noise levels from outside. I stayed here on March 17, 2017. The windows/walls are not only very thin/weak, but because of its location, you will hear people being loud & noisy until about 4:30AM. At around 6:30AM, directly across from the hotel, there is construction going on, which will start right on time. I felt like I was sleeping on the street. You have been warned.
This hotel has a perfect location near piazza del Duomo. The prices are great and the breakfast was good.
I had an amazing time staying at the Pendini Hotel in Firenza Italy. I felt like I was part of history staying in a hotel that has existed since the 1876. It was central to everything in Florence. I would go back again.
My friends and loved the breakfast and the staff were extremely helpful.

We stayed 3 nights in June 2016.
The location is great - very central and easy to reach from multiple directions. We walked there from the train station, which was nice. The entry and room were both very clean, tidy and welcoming. The decor felt "new" in its condition but also appropriate to the age of the space.
The breakfast was a nice surprise - a lot to choose from and all very tasty. The staff in the breakfast room were eager to help, as well. The gentlemen at the front desk were pretty helpful; there was a lady there who was a little less so, but she was cordial.
All in all, we were very pleased and would stay there again and/or recommend it to others without hesitation.
