Stayed 2 nights in the NH Firenze Anglo American. The lobby was very nice as was the breakfast. Our room was awful! The wallpaper was peeling, in dire need of having the trim painted, curtains just about falling off the rods. The worst part was our bathroom. The floor was sticky, very sticky, from the minute we first walked in. I was thankful I had my shoes on! Even when we took a shower we put towels on the floor so we didn't have to touch the tile. We asked to have the floor cleaned the next day but it was not. I've never stayed in a hotel that was that dirty. We understand others in our group had nice rooms so we know they were available.

Very nice hotel, comfortable bed, huge room, and above average service. We enjoyed our stay here. The included breakfast was high quality as well. Also, the hotel bartender pours generous drink portions! The one downside is the location is just OK - not a great location. Other than that it's a very good hotel.

The hotel is shabby! It has great potential but need refreshing and modernisation. This note said it. They don’t clean it properly do they????!!!???? At the moment is like 2.5 * then advertises 4*

Very good service. Free upgrade on room. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. 10-15min walk to the main city centre sites.

This is a real American 2,5 star Motel. place has no parking, you need to pay €25.00 per night additionally to have it parked off site where you won't have access to it entire your stay. Brakefast is very basic.

Nice rooms, comfortable bed. The breakfast was very good. The window didn't close all the way in my room and there was too much noise from the street.

Lovely hotel! The staff were the most notable- couldn't have been friendlier or more pleasant to interact with. The bartender was also delightful- we found ourselves back at the hotel bar to have a glass of wine and listen to the guests play piano in the lobby every night. Would definitely return.

Really enjoyed this hotel — the room was beautiful and the staff was very friendly! The breakfast was delicious as well (though the coffee was a bit of a letdown, especially for Italy). Location was excellent for visiting this beautiful city!
However, I didn't care for the outsourced parking service — it was quite expensive and it took a while for us to get our car.response / report this review
