In the rooms there are several faults, including broken switches and plugs. The shower functions, albeit a bit weirdly. The service was not to the best liking, as the rooms given by email beforehand didn't correlate with the one's given when we arrived. The location however is convenient and the breakfast service is excellent, offering loads of different yoghurts, bread and cereals. Overall, it has been a pleasant experience in Rome with the convenience of transport. However the service and rooms could be better.

Really lovely hotel, friendly staff and good service.
The rooms are very traditionally decorated, in keeping with the age of the building. This was better though as we didn't feel like we could have been in any hotel, anywhere in the world.
There are lovely roof terraces with good views and seating.
Lovely buffet breakfast in the mornings.
The only negative we encountered was through no fault of the hotel itself. There was quite a large group of French students/teenagers who were incredibly rude and noisy with the other guests (including other French guests). It did also appear that their behaviour had been addressed at some point though.

Would very happily return as we really enjoyed our stay, and would recommend this hotel.

Lovely rooms and service for the price. Staff were friendly and the free breakfast included a variety of items and cappuccino. Nice garden and the place had a lot of character. Good deal for the price!

Booked a room last minute here due to a bad Airbnb experience close by. The staff was helpful, the nice sized room was clean and quiet (we got a room facing away from the street). Free breakfast included with pastries, meats, cheeses and espresso. The WiFi worked with no problem in our room and all the common areas. A hotel with some real character with interesting touches all around. A few quirks, but overall a great value!

The receptionists were really nice and friendly. The choice for breakfast was wide. Some cereal, croissant, cake, milk, and some fruits. My room had WiFi working only in particular spots and it wasn't that fast. However the bed was comfy, the toilet was a bit small in my opinion. I think that the place was great.
