I didn’t mind this place. Walls are very thin but for the price I thought it was ideal. If you’re visiting Rome you shouldn’t really be sat in your room all day. Breakfast is basic, but if you love cheese, this is the place for you

The location isn't very good and the bilding too, it is old and it is in bad condition.
The rooms are old and dirty, in the walls there are some little holes, and the toilet aren't in better condition, in some of these there aren't the toilet brush or the window.
The hotel manager is cantankerous, irascible and he doesen't use clothing appropriate to his role.
Other staff isn't bad, especially the waiter Osman.

Lacks many basic services. I had to move heavy furnitures to just to charge my phone. The heating system was very frustrating, they turn it on and off every now and then, and at night it wakes you up every time you are about to sleep.
The blanket was a very poor quality, and not inviting for your eyes.
The bath room was to small, I had to struggle for my essential bathroom needs. Even washing my face was a problem. For a much lower prices and better locations in Rome, I had better experiences. I was really disappointed.

Room is small, bathroom smells like sewege, faucet dripping on floor, small shower room, old furniture, paper thin walls, heating must be asked for at front desk, wifi is 3€/day, breakfast is scarce, beds are wobbly, no view, no restaurant, DO NOT TAKE TEA FROM VENDING MACHINE

Passable (to a little too small) rooms, price is okay, Plugs are hybrid, so Italian and standard EU-Plugs fit. Room's clean and includes a small bathroom with a shower.
WIFI-Compliant WLAN is available but (as expected) suffers low bandwidth problems.
Meals are okay to good.
Service is friendly and can speak English at least, if not more languages.

Stayed here November 2015 and have mixed feelings about the place. It's one of those annoying hotels that have different buildings in different streets, so myself and the rest of my group had to stay in separate buildings. The entire hotel constantly smelled like bleach, I supposed that means it got cleaned regularly but they really do over-use the bleach and its not healthy breathing it in all night. On our second night there seemed to be some sort of party going on in a few of the rooms. The noise was unbearable and people were running up and down the corridor and banging on doors, including our door. The hotel staff seemingly did nothing to stop the noise, yet the next night the hotel staff complained that our TV was too loud. As you can imagine, this was extremely frustrating considering the events the previous night. The only reason I gave no less than three stars is because it is a budget hotel, and people like students etc need hotels like this to be able to afford travelling. You get what you pay for I suppose. The breakfast staff were the highlight, they were very friendly.
