It is conveniently located near the train station and the duomo. The breakfast was decent and the room was huge and had a rustic feeling about it. However, it is near the streets and central market and can get quite noisy at night. Also, the shower area is quite small and you may feel restricted while showering.

Central to all sites. Clean. Friendly reception staff. Were very helpful in getting us tickets for introduction to Opera evening, a lovely event, and you don't have to be an opera buff to enjoy it. Good breakfast in hotel, but decent resturaunt next door for evening dinner. Convenient for central rail station. Italian rail is well worth trying.
    Would visit again.

    Pros: Great location.
Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Rooms are average not tiny. Breakfast offers a reasonable spread but with little variety each day.

Cons:The WiFi connection is absolute rubbish. Our room was in the third floor and the connection kept dropping out frequently ( every 4 minutes or so). When I informed the reception they tried resetting the connection with no positive outcome But they can't be faulted as they are not technical staff. You'd think by now hotels would get the importance of stable WiFi infrastructure. There were no coffee or tea facilities in the room, no glasses, no minibar price lists.
Can't see how this hotel is a 4 star (industrial rating) but its a pretty reasonable 3 star.

Ten minute walk from the train station - no taxi needed. Lovely and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable. The junior sweet was more spacious than I was expecting for Florence. Great breakfast in the morning. I would absolutely stay here again.

Awful hotel.,when we arrive our room had somebody's poo in the toilet. Reported it to the manager who had somebody come and clean it straight away.,gave us a bottle of wine as an apology but the thought of that toilet was awful!!! Room was dusty and dirty. Area where the hotel was not very nice and there were a few ladies of the night working on the corners.

Hotel Atlantic Palace location is excellent. Everything is right at your door step. Also the staffs members are very friendly, and the breakfast is great. The room is a little bit old, but they keep it clean with fresh linen and towels. Visited in winter, and they kept the room temperature just right.

The hotel is plagued with old furniture, dusty rooms and an absolutely barren and dreadful breakfast. The hair dryer didn't work properly and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. This is a one star hotel I would never return to.

This hotel was so bad I got physically sick from it. It is off the beat and path and not in a nice area, so you have to walk at least 10 minutes to get to the Duomo and other actually good restaurants. The rooms though we're the worst part of this "hotel". It is very old and clearly has not been updated ever. The mattresses caved in from being so old and gave horrible backaches and everything was so dirty. I spilled water on the floor and went to clean it up and the towel turned black from the filth and dust. I didn't even want to sleep in the bed because the sheets were so dingy and the comfortable had stains and rips all over it. Nothing like in the pictures and not worth the money at all. Please stay away unless you want to wake up with swollen red eyes and a runny nose every morning from the dust, mold, and filth.
