If you’re keen to stay on HK island and have a mid range budget in mind then this hotel is certainly worth considering. You could get a 4 Star hotel in Kowloon for the same price but this ibis puts you close to the action. If you opt for a harbour view room (essential if you can afford it) then you get a decent view of some of the harbour (not all as blocked by other buildings). The hotel is very busy and well used but the rooms are kept clean and refreshed. It’s a little more basic, as you get with ibis, but well maintained and in a great location. 7-10 min walk to Sheung Wan MTR. Local neighbourhood is exactly that local, and with it comes an amazing buzz. There’s a Starbucks on site if you need a quick coffee fix. It’s safe too with key card lifts, chain on door and laptop sized in room safe.

Good central location, small but adequate rooms (I travel solo) with fantastic harbor views (if you pay for them). Super friendly and helpful staff. Starbucs at ground floor. I'd stay here again. If you're a big person the shower is gonna be a struggle. I'm 6 foot 175lbs and take yoga and it was fine for me.

Decent place to stay, however bit expensive for its services. Good connection to city centre and closest Train station is 0.4km away. Tram station is right across. Breakfast is not included and is charged separately. Rooms are bit small, but clean and tidy. Good experience overall

Modern rooms with good toilet and shower facilities. Rooms are a bit small though but what do you expect in Hong-Kong. They also have a shuttle service that takes you to and from the airport express train station that circulates every 20 minutes. For being only 3 stars I would definitely recommend it.

Staff was very helpful. Room was clean and quiet but on the small size. Try to get breakfast included. Great location. Near bus, underground transportation and boat to going to different islands.

I spent 3 nights at the Ibis Central in a room with a bay view. This is a very clean, conveniently located hotel which is an 8 minute walk from the nearest MTR station. I had an issue with the safe in my room (it needed a new battery) which the staff where able to resolve promptly and without fuss. The Starbucks located on the ground floor is great but does get busy. My only negative is that the beds where quite hard. Would definitely recommend for any trip to Hong Kong.

Good location, excellent staff, and clean room. Checking in and out was easy. Located close to tram stop and a short walk from the subway station. Quieter surroundings for quieter nights. Stores nearby to get water and other supplies.

Good location. Good breakfast (all though the soundlevel is always loud! - easy to fix). Clean room. Nice water view, in my case. Friendly staff. Some minor improvements and its a given five-star-rating.

One of the newer mid-low tier hotels in HK cbd. The price for its location can't be beat. The free shuttle that runs from the train station to the side of the hotel is another reason why this hotel is perfect for business and light travelers. I found the view also incredibly breathtaking. The front desk area can be a bit crowded at around check-out time but that's to be expected. Definitely worth it 😆

All the staff were very courteous and friendly. We were particularly impressed by the doormen, who helped us to catch a taxi in peak hour under a lot of difficulties. They were very helpful.

Our only bad experience was with the housekeeper on phone duty: My wife and I were given one pillow each, and there was only one spare pillow in the cupboard. All 3 pillows were too soft. I called the housekeeper by phone and requested two more pillows (my wife can use the spare one in the cupboard and I needed two more because of a blocked nose). The man who answered the phone decided he would only give us one. We travel a lot and this is the only time we were refused such a simple and easily satisfied request.

I stayed there for a week recently and had a nice stay. I didn't love the smell of the room but it was very clean. The gym is very small - a tiny room with one eliptical, one treadmill and one rowing machine -- but it did the trick as I went early so always got to use the machine I wanted.

The hotel is convenient and clean. The restaurant had a great breakfast buffet that I really enjoyed. The room was cleaned everyday and they replaced my complimentary water bottles everyday which was nice. Some toiletries available but limited.

The harbor view room is worth the upgrade, the view is fantastic! Friendly, helpful staff. Convenient to subway and Victoria Harbor. Breakfast buffet is decent, but I am glad that I didn't pre-pay, as when I arrived they were running a promotion that was cheaper than the discounted online upgrade. Online check-in is easy. Free shuttle to and from the Airport Express. The room was smaller than we are used to, but that's normal in Hong Kong, I guess. I would definitely return!

In short overall stay was good. There were few aspects which could have been improved like house keeping - Limited supply of coffee / tea making resources and lack of cleaning of floor (this is a big item that needs to be focused on). From the day i came in i feel that the floor has been never cleaned and this was the same case all through my stay.

Our stay was good. We noticed that there was not A/C in the hallways leading to the rooms. I'm sure this is done to save electricity. This is the first hotel that we have stayed in that does this. We don't like being in an elevator and hallway that does not have air conditioning on. Also, with the exception of Ms. Natelie, the rest of the staff needs a refresher course in customer service, including the person greeting in front of the hotel. He seems that he does not know his purpose. He just stands there but does not greet the guests coming into the hotel. I have worked the customer service field for 35 years and all of the staff needs a refresher course on outstanding customer service.

The rates are very affordable and the rooms are comfortable, clean, and nice. Our room was quite small and it would have been nice to have a little more space - particularly for luggage, but that was a very minor issue. The bathrooms were very nice, beds and pillows were comfortable and the view was spectacular. I would not hesitate to book here again.

Location is very convenient, tram is just in front of the hotel so it was easier for the whole family to reach the central. Room is spacious and the staff are all nice and accommodating. It would have been great if at least they provided the room with 2 water bottles since we're 4. But overall it was a good experience. We'll definitely book again if we travel to hk.

Staff were friendly, efficient & helpful. Were happy to write the chinese addresses for us to give taxi driver. Would recommend room 3210 for anyone who wanted a harbour view, stunning!
Room was clean, great AC, tea & coffee facility & fridge one of the reasons we picked this hotel.
Perhaps the only downside was how hard the beds were, but when I asked about different mattress, a softer one was put on top, which helped. Not sure if the insect bites on my legs the next & following days were from the new mattress, so haven't included that in the overall score for the hotel.

Great hotel, great location. Easy access to public transportation and the hop on hop off bus. Friendly staff always willing to give advice and help. They have your best interest at heart. We experience taking the train to the airport and they had a free bus pick us up to drop us off to the train station. They added a great deal of value to our stay.

Polite and very helpful staffs. Super quick check-in and out. Clean room. Great view (I chose water view room.) Good location, there is a well known traditional Dim Sum place only 1 block down. Good money spent, I am satisfied. Only one thing, the baht area is alittle small and the amenities in the bahtroom is too few. They only provide toothbrushes, but not shower cap and shampoo. Bring your own.

It's an Ibis. but unusually the extra payment for view is more than worth it. Always clean and functional with friendly staff. Rooms the same the world over. What more do you want at this price point. Great value for visiting the area.

Staff was friendly, I called around 8pm to notify them we might check in late due to family visit, told them we should be there by midnight, staff have already got everything setup in the room when we got there, baby crib, room keys. as soon as we got there, went to the check in desk, everything was sorted and we were up in the room in under 5 minutes.
Checkout was easy as well, done it under 5 minutes again. Doorman on the ground floor was very helpful as well, he helped us to yell a taxi at 5am in the morning to the airport. Highly recommended. PS: Get the Harbour view room. IT IS AMAZING!!
