I give Harbour Plaza Metropolis a 4 out of 5 stars. 1 star solely for one outstanding employee who went above and beyond to help us. That star goes to Mr. Singh. He greets you with a smile and is genuinely friendly. He made last minute transportation arrangements to get my family of 8 to the airport after we tried to navigate the subway. As for the property, it was a little dated with parts of it was renovated (3 stars). What was attractive about this property was the value and close proximity to the harbor. I would stay here again. The picture below was from our 15th floor room.

This hotel has convenience, views of the harbor and polite personnel creating a welcoming atmosphere. Located near the train and bus depot makes Hong Kong travel a breeze, local shopping (including groceries!) in the hotel complex, multiple restaurants and a 9th floor gym with an outdoor pool to overlook the harbor and city.

The hotel room was okay but dusty under the bed. Booking was supposed to have bathtub but ended up without. Location pretty good with connectivity to major busy areas by 1 train stop

The location is fairly convenient next to the Train/subway/ bus hub, two bus lines can link to the airport.
The hotel itself is clean, with a choice of restaurants. The staff is very efficient (dead light bulb repaired within the day, blocked safe replaced within the evening). The gym is convenient and free, with open swimling pool/ jaccuzzi.
Stayed here for a long stay, but it is definitely a good choice no matter short or long stay.

Good hotel with a above average standard of rooms. Locations is a bit off track most attractions in HK, however there is a train station and a shuttle service, with the last one not extremely reliable and often too full. Overall enjoyable experience.

Pretty good hotel generally. Friendly and helpful staff. The room I had was a little small, but fine for my needs. Convenient location for getting around and there is a free shuttle bus to the airport train which was handy.

Nice and clean hotel, good 1 bedroom and living room suite with kitchen and utensils. Good and friendly staff that speak English well enough to provide information, etc. Shuttle bus to main town centre every 20mins. There is a shopping mall connected to the hotel so you can pick up supplies from the supermarket or get some food, rather than paying lots for the hotel cuisine. Decent choice of food stuffs and other shops. You can access the MTR through the shopping mall too.

Front desk staff are very courteous and you feel welcomed. Club floor restaurant has great view of the Victoria Harbour. Room is clean and the bed is firm and comfortable. Hotel being right next to the Hunghom train station and cross harbour tunnel make commuting to different places extremely convenient. I had to go to Yuen Long yesterday and it only took me about 30 minutes by taking the subway. I remember it would have taken 2 hours in the past. Infrastructure and road system in Hong Kong are world class.
Will stay at Harbour Plaza Metropolis again in future.

Very nice - make sure you get the club floor and access. The balcony is great and hotel staff are welcoming. Location to the MTR is excellent.

Check in from (11 to 14) October 2017 @ #19x5 with greatest services of the hotel, in-room fruits, superb views of the harbour and convenience shuttles services. Makes you feel like hoME with superb range of breakfast.

5 star declared and priced hotel. Rooms are tiny. Service is poor. We stayed there with family for 23 days. We thought we'd spend a little more so we were more comfortable. They wouldn't even give us a bottle of water apart from the first day. There was of course no discount for staying longer. It's definitely not worth it.
Their main clientele seems to be mainland China tours, so they don't care about any other bookings at all.
The restaurant downstairs we used a couple of times. Nothing great, and again apathetic staff.

The location is great, right on top of the hung Hom mtr station where you can also catch the trains to Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Fairly efficient but unfriendly service. And a Terrible Wi-fi connection.. effectively unusable at peak times.

Very clean, well run, and spacious hotel. It's out of TST a ways but a quick one stop on the MTR and you're in downtown TST. It's attached to a mall with large food court.

Nice hotel but not easy to access on foot for me. The rooms aren't so big for the price tag. This is common in Hong Kong anyway.
Lodging in one of the executive rooms automatically grants to access to the executive lounge with free buffet breakfast and dinner, with free drinks from 6pm to 8pm.
The executive lounge also has an outdoor sitting area for smokers.

The place is cozy with a good harbour view. Too bad,in some rooms, no hot water supplied even though they had the valve. And its dry type of toilet,so no flusher.

Not expensive in terms of the location. Room is not big, but room environment is ok. The Japanese restaurant inside the hotel is good. Also there is a shopping mall and supermarket just downstairs the hotel.

Nice hotel , clean , with helpful staff.
Room , had no wardrobe space ,. Shame.
One staff member made our stay special and that was jasmine .
