Very nice Marriott property. I choose this due to its proximity to the airport. The rooms are VERY nice, and the various restaurants in the hotel are great; they keep me from wandering too far the night before my flight.
Everything was good expect the transportation. It is located near the airport, need to take the shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel. If you have no plans of going into the city and leaving off the next day. This is a perfect place, as it's very conevient to the airport. The staff were friendly. One thing to mention, the AC in the hotel lobby is extremely cold, bring a jacket with you when you check-in.
Nice overnight for next morning flight out. Close proximity and complimentary shuttle is at best. Lounge and restaurant is clean and has many choices available. Definitely recommendable for those who wants to connect through airport. Con is that it if far from downtown district.
We loved the location for the night before our flight home. The shuttle service runs every 20 minutes to/from the airport. The concierge lounge canapes were lovely. We enjoyed the variety of options in the Bistro for the buffet breakfast. It is quite a long ride into Hong Kong on buses or the subway though.
Stayed there during a long layover (day room).
Overall experience very good, great facilities (pool,..).
Did not use any restaurant or in-room dining, so can't judge food.
Executive Lounge on 12th floor very nice.
Room was nice but very cold and adjusting A/C settings did not help. Believe this was a issue with our room and not a general one. Did not stay long enough to have it fixed.
This hotel stands out for its exceptional service. I am a gold elite member and I have to say that the staff took great care of us during our one night stay. The rooms are a little bit outdated but the executive lounge and other amenities such as pool and gym looked great. The buffet style breakfast needs a special shout-out as it is one of the best I have seen so far with plenty of western and eastern style options. One of my top stays so far!
Excellent high end choice with reasonable cost. Staff well trained, perhaps need to dial back a little. At the well stocked breakfast buffet, the constant well intended attention by different staff members became slightly intrusive that prevented the full enjoyment of the quality food. The selection and quality of the breakfast buffet is one of the best in all the many years of travels around the world. Definely will stay again. Easy complementary shuttle to and from airport.
Very nice hotel with super friendly staff. Enjoyed my 2 day stay immensely. Only disadvantage was noise from planes. Though not loud still ever present. The breakfast and dinner there was good. The train to HK close enough to still be convenient. Allover decent and dependable.
The hotel was clean and well laid out. The breakfast buffet was quite good, though expensive for what it was. Staff were helpful. In Christmas 2017 there was an enormous gingerbread house (large enough to fit inside), which was a real highlight
This hotel experience was amazing. Frint desk staff was very attentive, friendly and Hospitable. Well kept and clean rooms. Room was very cozy and modern. Slept like a baby.
Very nice location with premium accommodations. Fast Wi-Fi, and shuttle service to the airport. Rooms are quiet even with the proximity of the airport. Check in and out was seamless, they even left tourism tips in my room with a hand written note. It brought a smile to my face.
It was an amazing experience. Everyone is nice all the time. I got to the hotel and found out I had my reservation completely wrong. A young Front Office Supervisor, Mr. IAN IP took the time to fix my mistake and straighten up my reservation. It was such a nice and caring professional guy - and he is young. I have to congratulate the Marriot for having this kind of professional - 5 Star. Looking forward to my next visit!!
Convenient location for short stays. Staff is great. Breakfast is great. Rooms clean and spacious. Stayed her at least 12 times.
The staff here are amazing, they will help you with anything you ask. Case in point: I needed superglue to fix my glasses, and rather than send me off to a store, they called their facilities serviceman who came to my room with some and helped me glue them back together. Truly impressive dedication to customer service.
Their breakfast buffet is excellent, with many options both Eastern and Western. The wait staff is very attentive and accommodating. They even make fresh vegetable and fruit juices. We got some fresh blended apple, beet and carrot (ABC) juice one morning, something my wife appreciated greatly.
It's very close to the airport, but they have a shuttle every 15-20 minutes to take you to the main island, so it was very convenient.
The decor is nice as well. It's pretty modern looking, plenty of places to sit and take in the views of the ocean.
We stayed for a couple of days while we waited for our flight back to the States and I would definitely do it again in the future.
The room itself was fantastic and the staff was pleasant. It's a bustling, well-furnished hotel. I happened to get in mid morning (2AM-ish) and ordered some room service. I have to say I've had a better burger for less than $10 than the $30 burger here, but I was just pleased they were open that late. This hotel is within walking distance to the Expo. I'd be happy to stay here again if I'm just passing through, but I'll definitely stay closer to the city on longer trips.
On this trip, coming through Hong Kong on the first leg, I arrived late at night and my connecting flight was at 4PM the next day. I was able to take my luggage over to the airport and check it in, grab a good ramen breakfast bowl, then hop the train into the city. Had time to walk around a bit, get the best shave I've ever had, meet an old friend for lunch and make it back to the airport by 2:30PM, ample time to catch my flight. Don't be afraid to venture out and explore, as there's not much to see at the airport.
This is a really nice hotel which we were posted to after our flight delayed. The food was really interesting and varied - the rooms were also nice, the beds were comfy. The only bad thing was that the dining area was totally packed. Supper and breakfast were both delicious. Supper was somewhat lacking on western options.
This property is NOT a 5-star hotel. the hallways wreak of food and carpet air freshener. I was upgraded to a 1-bedroom suite as a Gold Elite and room was large, but furniture is outdated. The curtains were off its rod. The food at the buffet, I wouldn't eat. Wine and beer were not included in the buffet price.
It is one of the best hotels located near the airport and next to a convention center and exhibition hall. Complimentary shuttle bus to the airport as well as Tung Chung and Hong Kong Disneyland is well appreciated, especially for guests to visit nearby places.
The room in the hotel was neat and tidy, and the bathroom was absolutely attractive for a Marriott brand with amenity kits provided. However, the view from the window was not good and the windows are slightly dirty, the view would be better once the construction work of the Boundary Crossing Facility is complete. The fitness center is very spacious and has a good fact that it opens 24 hours a day.
My family booked a room without breakfast so I could not comment on it. I stayed in this hotel for three nights during Songkran/Easter and enjoyed my time staying there. I also loved the design of the Main Lobby and the Reception, and I even got to see a painting of J. Willard Marriott and his son which was very nice.
Friendly staff at front desk and in lounge. Breakfast buffet is good but priced a bit high. Walking distance to Asia World Expo. Rooms are clean and good size. Convenient access from HKG, using shuttle bus every 20 minutes.
The perfect layover property. Free shuttle every 20 minutes from the terminal, comfortable rooms, proactive staff, large and new fitness center with dry sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi. They even emailed a couple days before arrival and asked if I needed anything specifically when I arrive.
Very nice hotel. Beautiful, large rooms. Comfortable beds, superior bathroom. Excellent breakfast and dinner buffets.
I have stayed here many times on layovers. It's got a fantastic pool. The breakfast buffet is excellent. There is a shuttle that goes to Citigate for shopping or eating, running back-and-forth at interval until late in the evening.
Great Airport Hotel, 5 minutes from HKG Terminal 1&2 .
This is my first time at this property, the rooms are updated, clean and the service is excellent.
If you just need to spent a night waiting for a flight that's a great place, if you want to visit Hong Kong I recommend to find a more centralized location closer to Hong Kong Island or Kowloon.
The breakfasts is Asian and western with huge verity of everything.
Stayed here for a 2 night stopover for Disney with my family on our way to Cebu from Dfw. Amazing hotel. Staff is amazing. They had a shuttle from the airport and shuttle for Disney. Jen who runs the executive lounge is one of the best Marriott has.
The room was as expected, comfortable and modern. Breakfast was excellent and we really enjoyed the lap pool. Proximity to airport is great (5 mins) and there. are shuttles every 20 minutes. Only downside is construction in an adjoining lot and we woke up to jackhammers.
Fantastic hotel. Rooms are well appointed and comfortable. Staff are incredible. The amenities cannot be beaten. The only complaint worthy of giving 4 stars is the location... With luggage it's a challenging walk to the nearest Airport express train station at Asia World Expo. The hotel offers a shuttle to the airport, but it runs just infrequently enough to be really annoying after a long flight into HKG. Would be an awesome 5 stars if there was an easier way to get to and from the hotel... Especially if you're spending more than 1 night, it's very easy to feel "trapped" there. But for the first or last night of a trip to Hong Kong, it's a luxurious stay very near the airport.
