If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around
Rooms are spacious and clean. We had a room with sea view good sized balcony. Two very large pools (one for children). Very attractive landscaped garden. Hourly coach trips to and from Kowloon central at very reasonable prices offered by hotel. Eating in at hotel can be quite expensive. It would be nice if they had a cafe. When looking at central Kowloon or central Hong Kong island prices this has to be very good value without the pollution.
This has to be one of the very few hotels where they do not know how to make a lime soda. Nothing more refreshing on a hot sunny day than a fresh lime soda, made with lime juice and soda. The best you will get here is lime cordial and soda. Very disappointing.
Spent one night at the Gold Coast hotel in the middle of my Hong along trip. It was a relaxing oasis just as I had hoped. The pool and grounds are gorgeous and the beach is a close walk just off the hotel grounds. Our room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable. It was by far the best sleep we had on our entire 10 night trip.
Very nice hotel. Would have given 5 star except for the cost part. Lot of activities for the kids. Kids would love the hotel. Draw backs are distance from City, cost of food and rooms and no tour desk. Otherwise great hotel to relax with your family

A very lovely place to walk around and prices aren't that expensive compared to how it looks!
Great hotel not centrally located so nice and quiet and provides a regular shuttle to centre of town
The staff is really nice. We got upgraded to a premium room with sea view. Compared to previous stays the rooms seem to have been renovated and are much nicer.
Nice luxurious hotel with amazing views. The room we had was on the 16th floor with a fantastic view of the courtyard in the back of the hotel. We also had access to a balcony in the rear of our room. Our room was very clean and spacious.
I didn't go to the hotel. They have residencial area also around the hotel and I am staying there. So can't comment on hotel service and all. But the location is very good, transportation is easily available, the near by beach is awesome.
They was able to check me in a few hours early when my room became available. Clean room aside from the hairs on the floor in the bathroom. Quiet but friendly staff. Was told I couldn't eat my M&Ms in the waiting area. Fast checkout. They do hold luggage and get you a Taxi if needed
Honestly this hotel is good but not locate ideally for most visitors to Hong Kong. It's a fair commute to get into the city. They have an outstanding seafood buffet but it costs well over 50 USD per head. The breakfast is above average and has adequate variety to cater most. The rooms are great and if you can get a seaview it's well worth it.
Drinks at the bar. Very nice, we asked to taste a couple of the wines and the waiter put on a small tasting session for us. We discovered some wines really enjoyed and had a much better time as a result. Great service.
Nice place to stay. The food is delicious and the pools are nice and big. There are even shows at night there, it's a very nice place to stay.
Good hotel away from the hussle and bussle of the city. Also a good Champagne brunch on a Sunday.
The hotel is a bit old but I like their child and family friendly facilities. This is my second visit. This time I tried the playhouse. It is supposed to have been opened within a year yet the toys there already a bit worn out. And the staff are not quite friendly nor helpful.
Great hotel with good activities far away from the noise, big rooms (which are hard to find in HK), great food both western and Hong Kong
Love the champagne brunch here. Affordable prices for rooms and a child play room.
Kids love the facilities. But mine got asthma while sleeping on bed. Suspect not clean enough.
went there for a dinner buffet, food choice was a lot, especially there is a beer tap. however, taste and presentation were average. service was good. environment is good too. price was alright with a bit on the expensive side. there is a large public car park just outside the hotel. if you go there at night, you could easily find space(weekdays). I may go there again if there is discount.
The view is amazing. The rooms are also good. The hotel is very clean. The rooms are big. The morning breakfast buffet offers a lot of variety. The staff is friendly and helpful. Most of them speak English. I would recommend having Google translate handy.
Great views and the beach is pretty close by , a walk of 2 mins from.the hotel , themed rooms and shuttle bus service to the airport is available
We were doing some basic breathing movement on the nice parc of the hotel when a manager came to tell us that we were not welcome to do that here, "policy of the hotel", difficult to understand this policy, I understand that ball games, sport and noisy activities are not allowed but how come you can tell someone that you can't lift up your arm while breathing slowly to stretch up a little bit?? Why in the morning after woke up you can't get down to do morning exercices in a such appropriate place ?? Telling people how they can or cannot move, is not understandable, they allow you to walk, sit, breath but if we sit to calm down, or open the arm to practice breath exercises like basic qi gong then not allowed First time this happen to me after travelling all around the world, we are not talking about doing fitness or sport, we don't bother people, not making noise, when we asked a reason about this policy, this manager just made a face, and said "hotel policy" yeah i understand this is hotel policy", a hotel policy should come for a reason! Any customer or visitors are not allowed to do basic movement of breathing exercices like Basic ! "qi gong", which are just basic movement of life, everything we do at any minute is a kind of qi gong.
I don't mention the noises in early morning around 6 or 7 am. Many times I was awaken by someone who was Doing some kind of renovation in an other room, hiting stuff, drilling holes And the isolation of the hotel is not so good, we easy hear noise from outside and noises coming from other rooms.
Too bad, the hotel has a nice swimming pool, nice and beautifull garden, the waiters of the bar and restaurant are all nice. Not going there anymore and not going to bring people either.
Room was very tastefully decorated & very clean. Excellent view of the yacht club pier.
Would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for the crappy food. Breakfast was below average and at HKD240/person, it was overpriced crap.
Dine-in food was no better. I ordered thai green curry with a side of fries. Thai green curry was absolutely tasteless & the fries were a strange plank shape & was served quite cold.
All in all, excellent room but try not to eat there.
Checked in and tried to take a nap but the sound of drills and hammers in the next room kept me awake. Called front and nothing was done. 5 min children train ride cost the same as a 50 minute session in the indoor play area. How does that make sense? All other 5 star hotels in major cities these amenities are complimentary. Bed sheets still had sand from the beach on them. AC unit doesn't cool at all.
Wonderful and friendly staff, paid lots of attention to detail. Love having my business meetings there.
