Dried seafood markets are nearby, walking out of the hotel into the smell and humidity in the mornings is a unique experience, otherwise a lovely stay.

The positives: Clean. Helpful attentive staff. Close to ferry terminal and other amenities.
The negative: Seriously, no other review mentions this but every room has a glass door to the bathroom. There is ZERO privacy. You can see your partner on the loo! How romantic. The room was tiny and no picture I had seen previously was accurate. There is no where to put your suitcase, no where to hang a towel with two in the room it was really cramped. We were moved from the first room as the only where to store suitcases involved blocking the entrance door. This room also had the bathroom sink, in the room - this was the harbour view deluxe.
If your on your own, for a few nights then go for it.

Standard of cleaning could do with improving as they seem to deal with the obvious areas but not where grime will build up when neglected. Stayed in an executive room, which is good size and really the smallest you would want to be comfortable if you spend any length of time in the room. Also booked a deluxe room which is functional but definitely one to rest your head in rather than spend time in.

We had a small but comfortable room with a view of the harbour. The staff were very nice but a few minor issues cause the hotel to score 4/5. Firstly, the window blinds were broken so that the harbour view could only be enjoyed when we physically held up the blinds. The bathroom was also very compact. It could benefit from somewhere to hang a towel, and the smoked glass toilet door did not provide adequate privacy.

Good price, comfy bed, clean. But it’s quite far away from mtr. Harbour view(but not that amazing). Ah, the thing is you can hear every sound from other rooms or corridor sometimes when i sleep and workers or customers shout each other and it was pretty disturbing.

Recommended. Very small room with bathroom that didn't have enclosed shower but affordable and staff accommodating and hands off at same time.
Good location. Easy to walk to metro or keep in on foot or find urban taxi. Hotel gave me free iPhone charger for my stay. If you are looking for a pad to crash at and shower up (no bidet😭) while exploring HK, this works.

Excellent hotel. Good price, extremely friendly staff, reasonably sized rooms (for Hong Kong). Clean and modern. Nice view of the park and the water from the room. Free pocket wifi was a nice bonus and worked well. Plus they offered free espresso in the mornings.

Small yet cozy and clean rooms. Stayed for one week and even gave refund as checked out one day earlier (little surprised here). One thing to consider, they don't serve breakfast but coffee is available in morning.

Ok location close to city and harbor - front of house and road on streets though! Quite disappointed with size of room - the photos make it look bigger - for two people was very small - no where to put clothes. Although view was lovely. Friendly staff. All good.

Great hotel that's central enough to everything. Like most HK hotels, it's a bit small. If you want to stay near Sheung Wan, this is a good option.

Very convenient hotel. The hotel is located in a convenient location that's easily accessible by MTR, trams and buses. It's a short stroll to Central if you're game. The short taxi ride also makes this a great location to stay at if you are on a business trip and need to head to the convention Centre

The bed was very comfortable and the hotel even provides guests with a free mobile phone to use while going around Hong Kong.

The only issue I had was the dust in the bathroom and the stains on the wall. The rooms are a bit tired and in need of some refurbishment.

Apart from that, the staff are very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely stay there again because of the team and the convenient location. Excellent value for money especially for Hong Kong.

Very good not much of a view out of the window notwithstanding, this place is very centrally located for downtown HK. Front desk guys great. One busy elevator serving dozens of storeys isn't ideal though. There is a fire staircase you'd rather use at times. Also minor cleanliness issues in rooms but I've overlooked these on this occasion.

Good location, although easy to miss. There is little to see at street level and the reception lobby is on the first floor. Rooms are clean and spacious (for the cost), but in need of some refreshing, especially in the bathroom.

Bed Bugs !!
I stayed at the Butterfly waterfront for one night. I arrived at 8 am to the hotel but as check in was not until 2 pm, I was allowed to store my luggage and was given the wifi hot spot, which was helpful. The staff was polite and helpful. I got my room when I returned at 6 pm, the room looked clean bit tiny. Since I was there for one night it wasn’t much of an issue.
The next day when I woke up I realized that I had quite a few bites on my legs. Didn’t think much of it, thought they were mosquito bites from the day before, I checked out. The bites and the itching continued, saw a doctor 3 days later and was diagnosed that I was exposed to bed bugs. That is when I realized that I should’ve checked the bed… now I have bites all over my legs and am immense amount of pain thanks to these bedbugs. So be careful staying at this hotel and make sure you check the bed.

Beautiful hotel with harbour views. Room was exceptionally comfortable, and I especially enjoyed the extra touch of two types of pillows (soft or firm) labeled with a felt butterfly pin. The room was quiet, I hardly heard the traffic outside nor any other hotel guests. The only downside is they do not serve breakfast. However, there is a small fridge so I was able to get food the evening before to have ready.

I really enjoyed my stay at this wonderful hotel. I very much enjoyed my room, and the view into the harbor. The staff was great, location was a little out of the way, but very close to underground train, that made for nice quite area to relax. Aossthesteet you can access a running path, and public fitness gym, with many activities happen, or a place to sun bath on some green grass!
