The Butterfly on Wellington exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend staying there. My room was very clean and the entire hotel was newly updated with a modern feel. The bed was comfortable and had both soft and firm pillows which were clearly labeled with butterflies. The hotel is within walking distance of LKF and other HK nightlife hot spots (but no so close to LKF that you get woken-up by the late night noise). Hotel staff was courteous and spoke English which made checking-in easy.
Nice and cozy place. Room is good and comfortable. Free pocket wifi for use around the city. But no breakfast
Extremely convenient location which makes getting around and sightseeing very easy. Close to Soho district and many many restaurants so finding good food is not an issue. The room isn't very big by Canadian standards but still comfortable for two adults with luggage. The room is also very clean and service is great. Definitely recommend.
Very centrally located and easy to get around from the hotel. Within walking distance to the HK train station coming in from the airport. Had the Executive room on the 19th floor and room was large and very comfortable. Everything looked new and well maintained. No complaints.
Courteous staff, clean and comfortable room, great location.
1. Good customer service
2. Perfect location
3. Restaurants surround the area
4. Clean hotel
Enjoyed my six night stay! Happy to get away from the Pacific Place mall area and into a more vibrant neighborhood. Lots of tiny shops & restaurants to explore.
The hotel appears small, but offers important services (same day laundry, printing/copying/scanning).
My room (1702) was very comfortable and reasonably priced. I'll be back!
Very convenient walk to central (1 min to escalator then 10-15 minutes to Central station and Docks).
Not a good area to drive or find parking!
The first took we received (RM 303) had very sorry carpet floors, what looked like a blood stain on the blaknket cover, and hair under the pillow covers. Asked for a new room and was quickly whisked away to Room 1003, which had newer and clean carpets. However, plugging in the hairdryer into the electrical outlet in the bedroom caused a power outage to half of the outlets in the room. The thermostat only has a cool or vent setting, no heat so I can only imagine how comfortable it'll be in colder weather. The staff is extremely friendly and did provide assistance quickly, but I wouldn't recommend this establishment if you're looking for consistent room quality.
We loved our stay here! The room was perfect- clean and modern. The location was excellent-close to easy access to subways and tram. The staff were attentive and friendly! We will definitely stay at this lovely hotel again on our next visit!
Good value for money, the location is not too far from the trains and there are plenty of good restaurants in the area. Additionally, the staff went out of their way to accomodate to our reqests and were very helpful
Good location. Excellent service staff. Really appreciate the mobile internet they give you. Can’t say it’s “good value” with the rooms as small as they are.
Service is good, small rooms and really small sink ..Tight for two. Gave them extra star for service.
Our stay was incredible, there has been a lot of thought into what is included in the stand packages. We received pocket wifi, a cell phone to make local calls, maps of the area and. Taxi guide. Room was surprisingly sized for being so centrally located, very well kept and clean. The location of the hotel is very central, walking distance to great shopping, michelin ratred food and bars a pleanty. Please note the hotel is located in a hilly area of Central.oir walk from the Central station was only 10 minutes or so- but one portion was fairly steep. Overall would definitely recommend a stay.
The location of the butterfly is great, you are only minutes from central. If you are a foodie there are numerous michelin starred restaurants nearby. 5 stars for location and cost. The rooms are small but well appointed and modern.
Fantastic location in the middle of everything Hong Kong central offers. Paid for a room upgrade to king size bed and was well worth it. Spacious and very comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in HK central.
Nice hotel. Clean rooms. We got a pocket 4g device with unlimited use, so we had our personal wifi where ever we went. Brilliant!
Super convenient from a work perspective. Very clean and simple. However, the space is a little cramped
In the thick of it. Good rooms at a reasonable price
The location is great. It is right in the thick of the action. Bustling bars, restaurants and markets are all around it but you can walk (with a rolling suitcase) quite easily to or from Central and Hong Kong stations in 10 minutes or so. Our room on 18th floor had a nice view of the ICF tower.
There is no bar or restaurant but you don't need them in this area. Staff were friendly and efficient in the brief dealings we had with them.
The room itself was spotlessly clean, plenty large enough. The bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning worked well. Great shower. The only suggestion for improvement is that you need to move the bedside tables and start unplugging bedside lights or clocks if you want to charge your phone up next to the bed. Every hotel at this level should have easily accessible, free sockets next to each side of the bed.
We loved the Huawei portable modem that gave us a wifi signal on the move. It worked well. Great idea!
Expensive but very good! Very helpful and friendly professionals at the reception. Clean and comfortable rooms with enough space. Worth visiting again
We unfortunately had many issues with our room. Firstly the emergency lights in the room came on at 3am in the morning flickering and started making random noises as if we were in a horror movie 🙈 then our shower drain was completely blocked. The staff had got in an engineer to fix the problem with the lights but we had the same issue the next night. Very annoying after a long flight and all you need is a good night sleep! I have to be fair to the staff (who were lovely) they did help and try to resolve the issue as quick as possible.
Personally if you are on a budget this hotel is okay it's in the right location however the rooms are small and dated. They do like most hotels give you a smart phone with wifi which is very useful. When visiting HK all you need is a semi decent place to sleep because you'll be out all day exploring.
