  Really good service and nice room decoration, but with a view on a very gloomy courtyard. Wifi was also really poor and location not extremely convenient.

  One of the worst hotel, I ever stayed in. Very old very smelly especially the carpet and they use a very annoying strong carpet fragrance to cover the smell from carpet and the result u can still smell the two smells clearly. You have to pay to use the safe box in the room🤤😲😤👹. No complimentary water, tea, or coffee. The internet is very slow. The only good thing is the location.

  It's been almost a year (October 2016) since I and my family (with two small children) were here. The hotel as a whole looks nice. But we had the WORST esperience with regards to service and how we were treated.
  Despite knowing that we are a family with small children, they placed us in a "family room" with view to a back-alley of a shady strip-club, with all kinds of "traffic" going on until the early hours. On top of that, the garbage containers were placed just beneath our windows so that we were hearing the banging at 3 am when the garbage truck was collecting the garbage in our first night! Just below us was the Banquet Hall where weddings and parties are held. So if we were not woken up from the calamity in the back-alley, we were kept up by the music and noise from below! The area in the hotel used for "family rooms" were previously stockrooms, which makes sense. When they expanded the management clearly did not take into account that less so than space, a family with small children needs a relative silence so that the children can sleep!
  
  Only when we brought the douvet and pillows with us to the lobby on the last night, and prepared to literally sleep on the sofas there, did the Hotel offer to relocate us! The manager did not have the guts to face us herself, and left it to her junior staff to deal with our fury! Their security guard at that time was very impolite and was even exuding a threat when i brought my complaints.

  Stayed here for several days and the hotel is situated in a great location. Walking distance to the metro, eateries and shopping district. Stayed in a twin room which was clean, beds were very comfortable and had enough space. Have to pay to use the safe and if you shower with a larger force the water will seep out the bathroom. Other than that it's a great place to stay.

  Location is very good, close to Gran Vía. Breakfast is quite complete, even with products for celiacs. Nevertheless, the hotel is very noisy, and you can hear anything it is happening in the other rooms or the corridor. Many people that uses the hotel are very unpolite, laughing and making noise at very late hours. Furthermore, many of the hall crew is not professional. We asked for a quiet room, but at eight p.m. you could hear a piano. When we told it to the crew in order to change the room, one of them said: "Could you wait for three hours?". Three hours!! We couldn't believe the answer.

  We are staying in the room on the ground floor, which doesn't look as nice as the ones we saw in TripAdvisor. They may be older rooms. The room and bathroom is spacious, but the hot shower is very bad! Shower is the second most important thing to me in a hotel room after bed. The hot shower was not hot enough and the power was very low. The frustrating thing is there was a lot of water kept dropping from the bathroom door.

  I have already stayed over this hotel, however I had one of the new rooms. This time around, I was given one of the old ones. The air conditioning does not work and it gets somewhat hot during the nite. Overall, the room has good beds and a functioning shower. The dinner at the bar is okay if you are looking forward for something simple and whithin the comodities of the hotel.

  We stopped in for a couple of appetizers and they were great, but the place is quite expensive. Fantastic service and good, fancy food, so it may be worth the price to some, but we wouldn't get a full meal there.

  I cant believe how much this hotel has changed in 30 years. I was so excited to stay here again with my own students. I was here in 1986 as a student myself. It's so much nicer now.
