Great location. Close to shopping and walking distance from most tourist sites in Madrid. Kind of hard for Uber pick ups and drop offs because entrance located in a closed ally, but it’s only a few steps from the sidewalk.
Great hotel. Excellent european breakfast. A short walk to all the best Madrid shopping, restaurants and nightlife.
Location is great, right in the centre. Room for a single person is tiny. One window that overlooks a brick wall and other rooms. No light, just two lamps. They use up 2 of the 3 plug sockets. The other is the TV so if you want to charge your phone, you sit in the dark. Bathroom is OK. If you're just sleeping in it, fine. If you want to catch up with work or anything, it's a little cramped.
Lovely hotel, so near from the center. The people is nice and the rooms are beautiful and clean. We enjoy our time there.
Easy to find, right next to Grand Via with many shopping possibilities, and also close to Sol and the castle. Nice room with a large bathroom and air conditioning. (very important when it's almost 40 degrees) Simple and good hotel breakfast with freshly squeezed fruit juice and a calm atmosphere. The staff is also very friendly! Overall, we had a nice stay.
I highly recommend this hotel. Perfect location and very confortable rooms. Good breakfast too and very nice staff.
Not bad but you can find better rooms are really tiny
The rooms are clean. Got a bigger room at the check-in with very nice view to Gran Vía Street. Location of the hotel is very central. Close to 3 metro stations ( Gran Vía, Callao and Sol)
Wi-Fi connection is a bit unstable but decent bandwidth.
Hotel isn't particularly high end, but it's clean, comfortable and couldn't be in a more central location.
My room was reasonably big, came with two single beds pushed together ( I think I booked twin for sole occupancy, so this was fine. I'd be annoyed if I got this after booking a double).
In the room there was a wardrobe, safe, TV (not locked down so could connect to my Chromecast). Bathroom is clean with good shower.
Only problem I had was wi-fi seemed unstable, with quality diminishing in the evenings.
There's no hotel provided room service, but a couple of menus from local pizza/Asian fusion restaurants that will get delivered to your room like room service (and be charged to your hotel room).
This isn't really I problem though, as you're surrounded by hundreds of bars and restaurants within walking distance.
Breakfast is good, with a varied selection of pastries, cold plates (meats, cheeses) cereals, fruit, juices. I didn't think it was outstanding quality, but still very good for the price (was included in my rate, but they charge just €9 for your entire stay)
As I said, the hotel is very central - with rooms overlooking Grand Via (entrance just to the side on a side road). You can easily walk to Metro stations Grand Via /Callao in a couple mins. Sol station in 5 mins, which has most lines + Cercanias trains.
Nice hotel in the close by the center and small tapa restaurants. It have a Terra's on the roof with chairs and some sprinkling water in a small fountain.
