The hostel is very close to Hauptbanhof - Munich Central train station. 24 hours reception. Good breakfast. The reception staff will give you lots of tips, on what to see & what to avoid. Nice atmosphere in lobby.

It's great for that price. And it's close to train station. You have lockers if you need them, if you stay in dorm room. I had no complications. It's simple and it works.

Old loud hostel. The hostel was not clean and definitely not new. Wall paint seemed to be coming off, I wasn't too keen on taking off my shoes in the bathroom or room, bunk beds are not sturdy so you'll wake up your Neighbour, no personal plugs!!! So if someone takes a plug next to you, you can't charge your phone overnight. And it smelled terrible.. like someone used to much cheap spray to cover up a bad smell. Would not stay here again. Only good thing was reception which is why I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1, they're extremely helpful and sweet!!

Excellent location right next to the train/bus station. I stayed in a 4 bed mixed dorm and a 6 bed all female dorm and both were very nice. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The shower door in one room didn't close properly so the bathroom 'flooded' everytime anyone showered. The staff were friendly and very helpful when it came to recommendations and directions. They also all spoke English which was helpful since I cannot speak German. The wifi was TERRIBLE and didn't reach the rooms. The work going on when I visited didn't disturb me at all and went on mostly when I was out of the hostel during the day. I would stay here again as it was a very decent hostel overall.
*Take into account that all rentals need a €10 deposit per item so make sure you have cash if you are renting towels, padlocks etc.

Typical party hostel - check in includes a drink voucher. Only co-ed rooms were available when I booked - the guy in the bunk next to me slept naked. I requested to be moved to an all female room but my request was denied ("we're not allowed to do that"). For two nights I went to sleep and woke up with this stranger's crotch a few feet from my face. Good: located near the central train station; within walking distance to downtown (10-15 min); cheap restaurants nearby; great, cheap breakfast buffet. Bad: area is shady (lots of strip clubs and porn shops in the neighbourhood); a single ancient computer for communal use; loud at night (street noise). I do not recommend this place unless you are desperate for cheap accommodations.

Rooms are very clean and tidy, the breakfast is good. It's location is very central and you can easily go everywhere by foot and metro.

great hostel. clean lobby and rooms. can use lockers on the day your arrive or day you leave, BRING A LOCK! the breakfast is cheap and efficient. the lobby pub is a great place to unwind or start the night!

The downside of this hostel is somehow the most important thing you look for in a sleeping accommodation: the bed. The mattresses are very old and saggy, coupled with thin pillows, laid on creaky metal frames that squeaks to your tiniest movements. The plasticky layer under the actual bedsheet doesn't help either which is a shame to an otherwise great hostel. The staff was very nice and welcoming. They provide lockers in every room and you could rent a padlock with a small fee from the reception. Nice atmosphere overall and amazing location.

It's a youth hostel, budget stay. Bang opposite Munich Hbf. 5 minutes walk from train station. Well connected with rest of Europe.
Those who can afford opt for attached WC & shower.
BF, locker fatalities available. Lockers are very reasonably priced @ €1 per day with a refundable deposit of €10.

A nice hostel, friendly staff and helpful too. The rooms were tidy and clean, but the metal frame beds were very creaky - you can hear every person moving in bed. The room was warm even in October, but the pillow was so thin it was hard to get a good night's sleep. Location is good, only a short walk to the city, it certainly did everything I needed it too and the bar looked good, but I didn't visit.
