Good to stay for a couple of days. Very convenient, just across the road from the train station.
Great location, just across the road from the main Munich station and walking distance to most bars and attractions. Hotel rooms are basic but are clean and tidy and have what you need. Plenty of options for breakfast but not all to my taste (not a criticism though). Reception staff very helpful and accommodating. Good value for money overall.
Clean room. Comfortable bed. No kettle in the room, but they had them if you asked for one. Friendly staff. Directly across the street from train station, yet room very quiet. Breakfast was worth the money.
I have stayed at the Europaischer a couple of times. It is in a great location to see the city and for transportation to get around Bavaria and the rest of Germany. Rooms are a nice size, even the singles and well maintained. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to accommodate requests. I would certainly stay again when visiting Munich.
Perfect location, just 2 min from central station. Rooms are very simple, but there you have everything what is needed, nice room service. Breakfast was nice and well organized. Everything was very fresh. Stuff is very friendly.
Thank you for a very pleasant overnight stay on my way to Italy. My small single room was perfectly designed to insure I had everything I needed close at hand. Double-glazing of windows kept noise out, making for a good sleep in a very comfortable bed. My bathroom was spacious and appeared to have been recently renovated with quality fittings. Clean and bright. The extensive buffet breakfast was good value. The Receptionist was very helpful in pointing me towards an excellent Bavarian restaurant, so although I was only in Munich for one night, the experience left me with a desire to return and explore further.
Hotel close to train station. Hotel staff excellent. Breakfast excellent. No coffee pot in room, however, coffee available at either 6:00 a.m. or 6:30 a.m. Has business center facilities (very helpful & had to use due to itinerary changes). Hotel sells train tickets at lobby. Hotel really covers alot for the price, and again super convenient to train station, with super friendly staff.
We were staying here over Oktoberfest and couldn't have picked a better place.
The room itself was spacious and comfortable and lovely and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful with very good English.
The breakfast buffet was amazing.
Location was so close to central station and easy to get to the key landmarks. Walking distance to Oktoberfest.
A little bit noisy but with the windows closed you can't notice it too much.
Perfectly located, towards central station. Very good italian restaurant next to the hotel. Further also facilities were what you may expect in a 4* hotel. Very good and divers breakfast, good beds, and good and helpful personnel! On the day of leaving, you can also store your suitcases/bags in a locked room. The only detail what was a bit disappointing, was the bathroom. This could use a modern update, but that was all.
Great location, good beds, really awesome breakfast if you can make it before 10 am after a night at Oktoberfest. However, ridiculously low ceiling in shower could well accommodate a child or dwarf but unfortunately it was horrible for anyone (me) above 5 feet. I'd love to chat with the German engineer who mis-calculated this. Elevator is slow and inadequate. Friendly staff, free water in lobby, and s huge pink parrot oversees the breakfast buffet. Rough neighborhood at night around the hotel, be careful.
Besides the great location and the services offered, such as the wonderful breakfast, the room was fantastic.
Besides, you are privileged by the beautiful city. I can not wait to return!
Thank you very much!
The Europaischer Hof in Munich is a good hotel. I took the comfort room which is spacious and comfortable. The location right at Hauptbahnhof is very conveniant for transportaion to the airport or any where in or near the city, but not a very pleasant neighborhood in the evening time.
It wasn't possible to get a pair of wine glasses to the room. It's a pity, as sometimes the little things make the difference. But altogether I would recommend this hotel.
Didn't expect any more. Reception staff were very welcoming. Room was a little warm but it made up for freezing temperatures outside. Breakfast had a wide range of choices. The staff at breakfast were very friendly. The hotel is right by Munich Central Station/Hopbahnhof. Quite a busy road outside but we had an inside facing room.
Very clean. Staff is very friendly and discrete. Breakfast is wonderful! Two points, however: I'd recommend the hotel manager to hire some decoration services to do a job outside the room, changing colors and material. Everything looks a little bit old. Second, the location is the best, if you don't want to spend time with bus or subway when you arrive in the city or when you're leaving, since it's in front of the station. However, because of the station, the looks of the region is not so nice. I'd highly recommend for short and strategically very well located stays.
We chose this hotel because it was located near the central station and was at walking distance of Marienplatz and a lot of other interesting places to visit.
This is a very respectable hotel. Our standard double room was quite big, we were impressed. The beds are comfortable. The showers are a little small but one gets used to it. It had everything we needed
The staff is mostly very courteous, depending on who you meet. One person was slightly rude to us and I gather it was because of pressure and stress, there were a lot of customers at the reception. Otherwise, everyone is very hospitable there.
The breakfast that is provided is similar to what I experienced elsewhere in Europe, but I'd say this one is slightly superior. They have very good coffee!
Do not be worried by the looks of the surroundings, nothing to do with the hotel. A few days before or arrival, they sent us an email explaining the weather would be hot and there is no air conditioning and that if you keep the windows opened it could get noisy at night because it's downtown.
Honestly, the weather was fine and they provide a fan. It was hot during the day but very comfortable at night with the fan. The fan would also cover the noise from outside except maybe the occasional police siren.
I definitely recommend this hotel.
