A nice little hotel, located on the upper floors. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very good located, only 1-2 minutes to central station.
The rooms are quite large and clean. The furniture and decorations have an old classical style. Bathrooms are more modern style with tiled floor and walls. There is no air conditioning, but that is no problem now in mid November.
The rooms are however not that quiet if you are sensitive to noise. You can easily hear people from the hallway and from the streets outside.
The internet is not so fast, especially in the evenings it can be troublesome.
There is no fridge, safe nor coffee maker.
The breakfast is nice. No bacon and scrambled eggs but a good selection of bread and homemade cream cheese salads. Freshly baked waffles and egg muffins are also available daily.
This is a lovely little hotel. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are cute. Christina was so kind and gave us several tips on exploring Munich.
The hotel is quite charming and a nice respite from a busy city. The street is a little seedy and LOUD at night. We could close out window and shut off the world. So I slept like a baby, but I see was there in a cool September when heat wasn't an issue. The hotel staff is truly lovely. They are helpful and kind and the breakfast was delicious as well.
Hotel Monaco was a very positive accommodations experience for us during our three night stay in Munich. Our stay occurred from 05 September 2017 until checking out on 08 September 2017. Upon every phase of the process from accommodation inquiry until final checkout, the staff was thorough, professional, kind, generous and with great attention to detail. Friendly greetings were accorded us upon check-in, our sightseeing inquires answered completely and a fond farewell was provided.
We found the rooms to be very clean, room amenities were excellent and the breakfast setting and offerings to be superb. Christine was an absolute gem of a hotel host and kindness is in her soul always.

Great little hotel - room was clean and was perfect for two people. A small fan and windows that open were a plus because it was pretty warm in the room (we went in early September). The bathroom was neat and clean. The only downside is it is pretty noisy at night from people partying on the street below. But overall we enjoyed it and would stay here again.
Great location for sight-seeing in Munich - we were able to walk to the old town, deutsches museum, and art galleries. Easy connections from main station or Karlsplatz by s-bahn to airport, and by tram to Schloss Nymphenburg.
Good buffet breakfast (€9 pp). Spacious family room. There were a couple of niggles: street noise from seedy Schillerstrasse, and a few broken items in bathroom.
Very friendly staff.
I had a lovely stay at Hotel Monaco. The ladies at reception were sweet and helpful and the breakfast in the morning was delicious and very reasonably priced. The rooms were charming and clean. I would definitely stay here again, highly recommend.
amazing, quaint bed'n'breakfast style hotel. on the 5th & 6th floor of a building right in the heart of the district. clean rooms, and an amazing breakfast buffet. highly recommended!
We truly loved our stay at Hotel Monaco. It was homey, clean, friendly, and we loved chatting with the front desk ladies. The only thing that we didn't love was the location. While it's convenient and close to the train station, the night clubs and cabarets below the hotel make for a loud sleep.
Convenient location, clean and cozy. Good breakfast. One thing is when we booked it did said accept credit card, but when we arrived, they said they don't, I noticed the other guests checking is had similar issue. However, eventually they agreed to accept credit card because I had a hard time with ATM this trip somehow. I am fine to pay cash, yet they should make it clear so guest won't misunderstand. This is a good hotel, and staff are very friendly.
