I like this place and would stay again, but I can report that the bed in the Eiger room is pretty hard, and I had to sleep on top of one of the duvets to keep from waking up all through the night (but I'm about 100 kilos so it may be different for you). The real nuisance for me was that the WiFi was shockingly bad, and since this was a business trip during which I worked out my room occasionally, it was a problem. On the other hand, the staff are terrific, the food yummy, the rooms cavernous, and the view spectacular. Given these comforts and the relative ease of access to my client from this location, I'd be happy work through these issues and stay again. But because of these problems I can only give 3 stars.

A wonderful hotel in a very beautiful neighbourhood. The views of the city are spectacular, the rooms are very nice and the breakfast is amazing.
Wifi in my room was not working, but to be honest: I did not need it. Taking a long walk through the snow forest behind the hotel made up for it.response / report this review -

My wife and I ate in Restaurant Spice. We started with a champagne apero on the terrace with great views towards the Uetliberg. Then we were shown to our table inside - the experience felt very personal as the tables are well separated and so you can easily hold a private conversation with your loved one. The food is contemporary and consists of exotic fusions of vegetables, herbs and spices (meat is available too for the meat lovers). Great for romantic dates.
