Not the cheapest 3-stars place to stay at. But what you get feels more like 4 stars than most of the actual 4-star hotels I know! The staff is very attentive and pleasant. The rooms are comfy, somewhat spacious and stylishly furnished. Clean, too. Located pretty much in the heart of Winterthur, you couldn't ask for a more convenient spot.

Boitique full service hotel nestled amongst historic shops and landmarks. Short walk from the train station. Excellent breakfast! Quality amenities. Nespresso coffee machine in apartment room. The hotel is being renovated, but I didn't hear any sounds until 10:00 and even then, definitely not loud. My renovated room has great technology. Electrical outlets everywhere! Heat and air control on the wall. Rain shower. Right outside the door are cobblestone streets and shops in ancient buildings. Zurich airport is less than 20 minutes by train from the nearby station. Early departures can get you to the airport before 6:00 a.m. Much better hotel than many others that are closer to the airport. Those hotels are in the middle of nowhere!

The Sorell Hotel Krone is a nice hotel. The room we had was nice and big. Unfortunately the windows were looking out on the main street and as we were there from Saturday to Sunday it was a little bit too noisy during the night. The restaurant was very nice but quite expensive.

Very well located with friendly staff.
A bunch of us stayed here last summer on a tour of the Alps - they have a secure underground car park accessible by a vehicle lift. We found it very clean and tidy with a nice feel to it.
