Beautiful and cozy boutique hotel in a great location. All staff were polite and courteous. The free hot breakfast has a large selection of freshly baked and locally sourced breads, rolls and pastries. I'd stay here again! 😊

We could not have enjoyed our stay at Hotel Helmhaus more! Everyone we encountered was pleasant, helpful, and informative. The hotel was clean and welcoming beyond our expectations, and its location is perfect. The atmosphere of the hotel is calm, orderly and beautiful, from fresh flowers on the stairway windowsills, to the perfection of the breakfast buffet, to the serene environment of our room. From what I understand of Zurich hotel prices, I would say this one offers incredible value without shortchanging hospitality . The staff really go the extra mile to ensure a memorable stay, and we would return here without any hesitation. Thank you to everyone who made us feel so welcome.

*BEWARE* My mother stayed 1 night on the 20th September, the hotel was perfectly adequate however unfortunately her expensive makeup *disappeared* from the room, when she queried this with the concierge she got no positive assistance or concern. Our advice is to be careful with your belongings in this hotel!

Complimentary glass of local white wine on check-in, very comfortable rooms (with samsung tablet in every room for TV guide, hotel information etc), decent buffet breakfast included. Not much actually in the rooms (robes, tea/coffee, ironing board etc) but just send a message to reception using the samsung tablet and they'll bring it to you.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in Zurich. Great staff. Large rooms. The breakfast selection is narrow but high quality. Sadly my firm limits me to 300 CHF per night so I can only stay here off peak.

The reception guy was very rude and attempted to charge for beer, although the room didnt provide any drinks. So bad experience. Never stay here

great location nice room good breakfast friendly efficient staff. only problem is for anyone owning or renting a car and the parking is both a good walk away and very expensive 25-38 CHF each day to park overnight. if you don't have your own rental car its a fabulous hotel, really nice and helpful people with great beds /mattresses decent speed free internet etc.
