The staff was very helpful at the hotel, and the breakfast was quite good. Other than that, not much really stood out. The rooms were quite small, view was ok, and for the price we paid even with an upgrade we expected way more (and better). The hallways are very dated and the decor is very wanting. The bed was far too stiff and uncomfortable. Parking for our rental car was of course overpriced but at least they had it and nothing went wrong (like some reviews I had read prior to staying here). Overall, I thought it was quite mediocre and was expecting way more based on their promotional materials, photos, and the level SLH hotels should be. I do not have any pictures to even post for the review because it was that unmemorable. Also, I emailed the front desk after our visit with a question about a billing issue and they still have NOT responded to me yetsad!

Well decorated and very comfortable room, we had a really nice stay!
The receptionists were also very kind and helpful.
Also the roof top is a great place to lay down and have a leisure time with the old Zurich

Comfortable idiosyncractic rooms. Good front desk service. The location is very close to the energetic Opera plaza with street wurst vendors, big crowds and a great lakeside view. Also close to many restaurants and some grocery stores. Not really close to the main train station.

Generally, a very nice hotel for the money. Rooms are small, but sufficient for short stays. Bathroom towels should be upgraded. Front desk personnel is not well trained, in my view.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best prices around

Location is great. Excellent for business and pleasure. Close to the Metro or for a leisurely walk along the lake..all 15+ kilometers of it. Staff amazing. Room is small but has everything you need and more even an adjustable bed.

Great rooms that really love up to the description: small (but still quite big enough!) and luxury. Walking distance from restaurants and bars, and we were given a complimentary beer at the hotel bar on arrival. Friendly and polite staff. A nice find.

Very nice hotel, near the center of Zurich and the old town. You can go everywhere on foot. The room was very clean and the staff was very polite and helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this jewel of a hotel. The staff was very friendly and always eager to help. The location couldn't be better. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel has a tradition for wine-tasting at the rooftop once a week hosted by assistant manager. Here you get to mingle with other guests and the hotel staff. We enjoyed this session very much. I highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Zurich.
