  When I go to Zurich, I always stay at Plattenhof. Always. I love the location- just far enough away from everything that it's nice and quiet, but also super convenient by either a short walk or a short ride on the local transportation. Plus, they have a great restaurant attached (Sento) that has the most ridiculously good iced tea you'll likely ever have in your life. Seriously. Plattenhof has my heart and my bet as being the place to stay in Zurich.

  Rooms are good and the staff is absolutely amazing.

  It's roomy for a European hotel, although the bathroom isn't. Comfortable and the breakfast that is included is awesome!!! So many choices not just Continental breakfast. Reception staff was very nice.

  A hotel for a few nights but not more. Clean and modern looking but 'used' rooms. Downside was that the morning shower was only luke warm. Location is okay as you can walk to Bellevue which is pretty central. Service was very friendly and helpful.

  Decent hotel, very hot in summer though. Pillows awful! Smart, attractive decor with good furniture and excellent touches.

  Cozy rooms, very good kitchen (try the seasonal recommentation of the chief). Nice coffee-bar with quality beverages. Perfect location for trips in Zurich.
