An excellent three star hotel. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The beds were comfortable and clean. The decor is older 1980s but the environment does not smell or have bugs. Overall I would stay here again for a budget night.
The hotel is decent with good size rooms. Pool is nice as well. Although if your room is at the back then getting the luggage is cumbersome as from front it's the same level with walk all the way down the corridor or park at the back take your luggage up the stairs to second floor.
Hate to put up a bad review because the guy up front was polite and friendly. I'd stay here if I was on a budget and not on my honeymoon. Not what I'd call romantic. We ended up taking one look at our room and left for another hotel. The staff was great but they are not getting support from Ramada. Owners need to put money back into this place soon. Lots of needed repairs.
ZERO STARS. WE were given a room that reeked of urine so bad I nearly threw up when I opened the door. didn't even get our bags in the room. The halls were dirty the room Was small and gross. I'm surprised Ramada allows their name to even be attached to such a sight. We tried to check in early around 1 pm but couldn't as the room wasn't ready. When we left to do some sight seeing the first thing we saw as we left was a drunk man chucking a beer can into the middle of the road. Highly unimpressed. It's not 837 and we just checked into the double tree by Hilton who gave us a discount for the situation we encountered at Ramada!!!!
Very dated. Carpets in the hallway are filly. I mean beyond dirty. There's mold on the ceiling of our shower. Location in town is the Only reason to stay here.
Old sheets that are paper thin, and furniture /appointments that are 10 years past the time they should have been replaced /updated. Ramada used to be a good place, and I expected more than this for the price. There's not even a continental breakfast offered, just a few apples and mints in a bowl are reception.
I've been in motel 6's that were nicer than the Ramada Victoria. If you're going to be staying in Victoria and lodging matters to you, look elsewhere!
Good location with lots of parking both in front, behind and underground. Rooms are nice and clean with good TV, comfy beds and good Internet. Attached restaurant was very good and extremely close pub was also great. Only complaint is the gentlemen at the front lobby wasn't very friendly or helpful, the others were all very good!
The front desk was friendly and provided good service and answers to my questions. The room was a bit disappointing as it's not as nice as shown on the picture. For some reason the AC was turn to around 30C and was very hot inside the room.
The toilet lid had some yellow stain on it and the lamp was unplugged. The cabinet under the sink was not pleasant to look at but otherwise I had no problem with the room.
They have a nice bar and restaurant on the premise but owned by separate businesses. The food was very good. I especially enjoyed the breakfast there.
At checkout there is an lady complaining about her room being disgusting, having blood stain on the ceiling and gross windows.
I would recommend the stay for the price of $100 or less.
Went to Hecklers. Awesome dive bar. Wednesday wing night, one of the best wing nights in town. They also do awesome comedy shows.
The room was not very clean when we checked in. Had to call them to change the bed sheets as I could see hairs all over. Then the room was fixed with a portable AC as the other one was not working. The portable AC was not cooling enough. I would never stay at any of the Ramada locations in future.
5/5 Would stay again. The room was warm and clean. Service was great. The restaurant is really homey and great. The underground parking is has a low ceiling and is confusing. The room was spacious and had black-out curtains which worked very well.
