The Marriott is clean, comfortable and welcoming. The location is perfect for down town shopping, restaurants and bars - as well as those scenic inner harbour experiences. I LOVE the comfy beds and those luxurious duvets - this is my "go to" spot and my " home away from home" when I stay in Victoria.

The location is walking distance to town and to water front. The rooms are clean and well kept and the service is amazing. Attended a corse training program that is held at the hotel and the hospitality is impeccable. coffee, tea snacks. Polite customer service with restocking Food and drinks

Very comfortable, clean room. Some dated-looking furniture, but the bathroom was really nice. Pleasant staff. Light on amenities, particularly given the nightly rate. No mini fridge in my room, which was a first for me. The gym was quaint. There were some outdoor patios that looked post-apocalyptic. Well placed location for travelling around town, but if there's a good view from anywhere in the hotel I never saw it.

5 star staff service!!! I cannot say enough good things about multiple staff members, especially at the front of house! Says a lot for the company as a whole, it is reflected in their staff and I've never had such 5 star service, and just genuine human interaction!! Highly recommended, a big thank you to a staff member named Sean!

When visiting Victoria, I usually stay at this hotel, mainly because of its convenient location and reasonable rates. This is not a five-star hotel, and isn't the most modern either, but it does offer great value for the business and budget traveller. Beds are comfortable and rooms are adequately furnished and equipped. The staff are friendly and service standards are high. For example, I encountered a problem with my WiFi connection, which staff quickly and effectively addressed. Remember to budget an extra $16 a night for self-parking underground. Overall, I have always been happy with my stays at this hotel, and intend to keep returning here on future visits to Victoria. Have realistic expectations and your stay here will be very enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Service was excellent. The room was spacious and clean. Front desk staff was helpful and knowledgeable of the surrounding area. All of my questions were answered. The location is convenient and close to restaurants. Overall a good stay and I would come back. Thanks!

The Victoria Marriott hotel was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful to me as an international traveler. The front desk was able to broker a currency exchange withoit any fees attached. The staff also directed our group to outstanding pubs and eateries nearby. The hotel also included a well-maintained sauna, pool, and hot tub. Staying at this hotel was a luxury experience which I highly recommend to those traveling around Victoria, BC.

Overall a really nice stay. The TV was noticeably nicer than some other hotels I've stayed at. On the second floor they have a swimming pool, hot tub and steam room, which is nice but note that the swimming pool is only 5 feet deep. The lobby is nice but they don't provide breakfast unless you have it catered so you'll be on your own for that.

    Absolutely Terrible. Buyer Beware!
I booked this a room for 5 nights at the Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour. I booked this room online through their own Marriott website. We were flying from Saskatchewan to have a mini vacation. The evening before, i had to cancel the flight/room due to my wife having the flu. The lady, Diane, told me the penalty would be the cost of 1 night + taxes, which was understandable. However, 3 weeks goes by and i hadn't recieved reimbursement. I called the Customer Care and they told me the Victoria manager declined the reimbursement and i will receive $0 back!
NOWHERE ON THE BOOKING PAGE DOES IT GIVE YOU THIS NOTICE/WARNING. So we lost our entire $800+ for calling ahead and cancelling. The manager will not take my call and they keep forwarding me to their call centre.
