Great service and sales. They helped my mom get into a great used vehicle and have serviced my corolla since I bought it!
The worst customer service experience ever-
Left my vehicle at Peace Arch Toyota for routine maintenance on Saturday around 2pm, called at 5 to see if it's ready for pickup. I was surprised to know that the reason both key fobs aren't working is because batteries needed to be replaced. I specifically told the girl on phone that I won't be happy to pay for these unless someone explains how in 24 months batteries died on both fobs specially when one of them was never used, it's a 2015 corolla bought and always serviced at the same dealership. I was told that she will speak with the manager right away.
Sunday morning I asked the receptionist if there's an explanation or note for this battery replacement charge the answer was NO and there's no one from service dept. to talk. On my insistence she called the Sales Manager Heng Lee who without listening, understanding or any sense of empathy repeated this same line three time "there's no one from service dept you can come back tomorrow, I cannot explain or do anything" when I stopped him to say the same line 4th time he turned to receptionist and said these exact words without looking at me "call ____ if he doesn't answer repeat what I just said to this man" and then he went back to his office.
Receptionist tried but couldn't get hold of that person so I decided to pay and get out of the dealership.
On top of all this pathetic service when I turned my car's AC on the fan now makes loud noise but I am not going back to this dealership ever again. In fact thinking about getting rid of this corolla.
Very satisfied with the professional attention and service provided to my recently purchased 180,000km Tacoma. In the last 20 years I have purchased 6 brand new different Toyota cars & trucks at different dealers who were really good however I have never imagined I would have same or better attention given to this old unit. Thank you Peace Arch Toyota. I see why you guys have such a good reputation in the market. Highly recommended!!!
I would like to say that the staff is awesome. Darren the sales man was very helpful. We traded our SUV and bought a 2014 Toyota Rav 4. Russ the sales manager is awesome too. Plus the rest of the staff at Toyota
Service department is very inefficient. Long wait even for getting minor issues fixed. Inspired to change dealer next time around. Frustrated.
Had a surprising part failure which could have been a catastrophe. The vehicle was undriveable so Greg and his team arranged a flatbed tow - which arrived within the hour (!) and the car was fixed (and checked for other problems), ready to pick up the next day. Kept me well informed through the whole process. Thanks for the great service.
on Behalf of Nicole Gibbon, I bought my 2008 Yaris from peace arch Toyota after shopping around from a few different car lots, the sales team at peace arch Toyota wasn't to pushy to sell me a vehicle, the sales team listened to my wants and needs for a vehicle and were able to bring me a great deal on my recent trade in to get my new corolla. I highly recommend the sales team from Peace Arch Toyota.
Jeff the service manager comes across as honest, personable and knowledgeable about your vehicle. The work usually takes longer than expected but your car is returned washed and feels like the work done to it was necessary, as it invariably runs better than when brought in. If there are any recalls, even if you aren't aware of them, they will let you know and rectify them free of charge. Staff are friendly and professional. Some dealerships have a discomforting "slimy" vibe to them. This dealership is not one of them.
After reading and hearing about the experiences that other people have had buying cars at dealerships, I have to admit I was a little anxious about buying my first car.
Actually I was ready for a fight, So you can imagine my surprise when my experience
consisted of a warm welcome, no pressure, kindness, helpfulness, understanding ,fairness and honesty. starting from the warm welcome I received from everyone, Nancy's welcome at reception to Moe my incredible salesman, Russ the manager and Dan the business manager. Quite honestly it felt like I was being invited into there home. I was shown around, introduced to everyone that could help me, Moe answered all of my questions and encouraged me to take the time I need to find the right vehicle for me he took every opportunity to thank me for my business, this is the way all businesses should operate. what a great experience I was treated with integrity and respect the entire time.
Ps. I love My Rav4
They have made some big changes over the last year.awsome service department.i recommend them to all my friends.
Being in the car business I do feel like an informed consumer and I already know what I'm buying. I've been dealing with Peace Arch a long time probably about 9years and probably about 9 vehicles purchased. I think in all I only test drive two of the cars and that is how much faith I have in Toyota products. I currently only service my wife's van there and there is definately no pressure for any other services. My vehicle is mostly serviced by myself but obviously at some point it will need to go in and I won't hesitate to bring it here. They do what I ask and that's it. Never been over charged. The vehicles are done right in time or a little bit early and washed. The crew there is fantastic and I'll be back for another vehicle soon once my wife decides to upgrade. I only deal with the managers when purchasing a vehicle but have also dealt with Leigh. As another mentioned he is knowledgable and very calm. Probably the reason he's been around a long time is because he's good at his job. For service I use mostly Mandy and she's pretty great.
My family & I have been coming here since 2004. I only get my vehicle serviced here. They are great, almost like family!
Would never take my car anywhere else.
I have had mixed opinions about this place. I have bought three vehicles from them in the last 20 years and each time was a pleasant experience.
The Service Department is another story. There has been a general decline over the past few years. Parts and service has become very expensive. They charge more than other dealerships and get away with it because other Toyota dealerships are a minimum of 40 mins away, a distance most locals will not drive.
Check in for service is so slow it is a form of torture. You can easily wait 20 minutes or so just to book your car in. The dealership nickles and dimes service and parts. When I put my car in for service the bill came close to $1000. Right at the bottom of the bill was a $40 charge for shop supplies. That was not mentioned in my estimate and when I challenged them they could not specifically say what the supplies were. Seems to me making up a label so they can get another $40. Add that to every bill and they make a pretty sizeable extra profit.
Great service before I bought the car, no complaints. After I bought the car the sales disaster happened. Was told by the sales person I would receive a cheque for $100 dollars sent to me by Toyota after a few weeks of my purchase. This $100 cheque never got to my hand until a very difficult battle of 6 months later. I had to constantly ask the sales guy what's going on and he would give me stories every time. There was always a new story every time I asked what the status was of my cheque. I was promised almost every few weeks that the cheque would be in my hand next week and it never happened. After like 2 months this sales person told me that I would now receive TWO $100 cheques from Toyota. Again I had to go through 4 more months of constant back and forth. How can Toyota be so unprofessional, all the stories this guy was telling me didn't sound like how Toyota conducts business or treats their customers especially after buying a brand new car. As I mentioned the service was great before I bought the car, but afterwards it felt like I had to fight for the money I was promised I would get within the month. If I had just forgotten about the promise, I am sure the salesmen would not have followed through because when I asked him if he remembers how much he owes me according to our conversation he had to ask me "how much was it again ? " HE FORGOT So please be warned and don't fall for any promises for after you purchase a vehicle, get everything up front and before you take the vehicle home. You will save yourself a lot of hassle. Keeping promises and keeping your word means nothing to the salesman I dealt with. I was let down and disappointed by the service I received after my purchase, don't let this happen to you too I kept all the text messages I had with this sales person to make sure that if anyone didn't believe me I could show them the proof. Keep all your text messages, emails and such for your own records.
