Stayed there in hotel for five days really very cooperative staff with delecious breakfast and manager is really a nice person .
This is my new go to spot when staying in Toronto. Great front desk staff and pool. Very accessible from the highway. Edit: back again! Newly updated rooms - very nicely done. The customer service here is outstanding.
friendly staff and nice newly renovated rooms. The restaurant had great food.
Best part of the hotel is its awesome service! The breakfast buffet isn't the best but it's located in the middle of Niagara and Toronto so it's a very ideal place too. Rooms areally very nice. Includes a heateddy indoor pool, and a small gym!
Would not recommend at all. I have stayed at many hotels, never saw what I saw here. I was shocked to find a box of condoms in the night stand beside me and a beer bottle wedged between the mattress and the other night stand! Clearly the sheets in my room were never changedif they were the beer bottle would have been seen. See attached pictures.
Rooms were clean, staff was nice. Nothing extraordinary though. Good if you just need a quick place to stay for a little while.
Don't recommend this hotel as it is currently under renovation and I got waked up 8:00 in the morning by the drilling and hammering noise from up stairs. Construction workers are using the same elevator as guests. Elevators smell like a construction zone. Dust is everywhere. Don't recommend this hotel at least until renovation is over.
Good location though. Near highways and a shopping mall. Parking is easy. House keeping is good as well.
During check-in, was told that the room might not be clean. The receptionist ran upstairs to check if the room was clean. Once he was back, we were told the room was in fact clean, and was handed the keys. If I booked a week prior, I expect the room booked and available for my use. Totally unacceptable.
Upon entering the room, we could all smell a disgusting stench. The smell was so strong and dirty, that it infected all our clothes. Called downstairs to the front lobby, and the front lobby didn't do anything.
Upon using the restrooms, the toilet became clogged. We called the front desk to inform them of this. Surprising, they weren't at all surprised, and I guess it happens all the time. Moments later, a maintenance worker comes with a plunger wrapped around a bed shirt, so that he can hide it from others. He fixed the toilet, and then leaves.
This was the final straw. Originally we had the hotel room booked for the long weekend, but after one sleep, we informed the hotel to cancel our reservation. Paid a few dollars extra and stayed at the Toronto Hilton. Was soo much better than this.
NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL.
Though price is effective, ambience is not much good here. Room seem to look like very old and congestion They said some renovations going on. Hopefully it will be good after it. Also there was wrong billing made and after much time it was rectified. But workers r so kind and good and lovable
To be fair they are doing renovations right now and I am in one of the "older" rooms. The front desk staff in the afternoon were AMAZING so welcoming and charming the overnight staff I had to call out from the desk a few times to get their attention but I'm sure they were just busy. My room is adequate and comfortable however the bathroom is a little cramped and the plug for my bathtub doesn't work which makes me sad because I LOVE my baths to relax. The pool area is very nice and wheelchair accessible, no hottub that I saw or a sauna though I didn't actually look for one. Breakfast wasn't included in my reservation but from walking past it looked and smelled awesome! I can't wait to stay again and see how the renovations go!
I only went to visit my parents that wee staying for the weekend. My visit there was short but the environment was very clean and the room was nice and spacious. Also had a nice view of the QEW. The staff was also very friendly.
The hotel was great. The rooms had no problems, the pool was great, as was the breakfast. I just overall enjoyed my stay.
I booked 2 rooms double beds and when I got there he said the room were not available and he wouldn't give them to me. The whole time I was trying to get a room he was laughing at the situation, he wouldn't call his manager and there was someone hiding in the back that didn't come out. The name of the clerk was I think Sabir and after this terrible experience I will make sure me and my family never set foot in a holiday Inn again .
