I would never recommend this hotel to anyone or stay her again. Every single "amenity" they offer is low budget. They have a free breakfast, watery oatmeal (could be drunk through a straw), all the limited bread products are stale, stale bagels with no cream cheese available, weak coffee and more. The upgraded breakfast was good for an additional $5. I felt like they sort of force you to buy the upgrade because the free breakfast is so poor. The coffee in the room is a complete waste of water. It is undrinkable.
Room problems: no clock!! no alarm clock, no radio! the only clock is on the microwave hidden behind a partition. No hair conditioner! I asked at the front desk, they told me its in the shampoo. I have long hair, I can't brush my hair after shampooing without a conditioner. They directed me to the vending machine. I took a quick peek, the prices for things in there are outrageous. Back to the local drug store...
2 outlets in the entire room! no USB outlets. Modern hotel? Really?
of those 2 outlets three lamps were plugged in. They are still using wall mounted heater/air-conditioning units for the room. Again.... Modern?
They have a pool but no hot tub.
The staff is pleasant enough and helped me when my TV remote didn't work the 1st time I tried to use it.
There is a bald Asian man waiting tables in the breakfast area who is helpful and pleasant. He was great.
    Bottom line.
This is a very low budget place masquerading as a High end hotel. Don't waste your money like I did, The Marriot Inn and suites is less than 2 miles from here.

UPDATE: I received a voice mail message from a woman at the hotel informing me that the extra phone in my room is actually a radio and alarm clock and it was unplugged. Yes I unplugged it. Because there are not enough outlets in the room! So I unplugged my appliance and plugged the Radio/Phone/Alarm Clock back in. It's dead.

Stayed here for two nights. The room had a funny smell. The fridge temperature setting was too cold. Spoiled some of my food. The heated pool was nice.. But no sauna or hot tub. Room came with two towels. There was four of us. I asked the house keeping for extra towel cause there was four people. She handed me one extra hotel. I had to repeat myself and say there was only two towel in room and there was four of us. The free breakfast was disgusting. The watermelon was spoiled. God knows how old it was. The pastries were stale and old. It was disgusting. I would not stay here again.

Had incredibly gross fresh stains on our sheets /tufts of hair in one bed and body hair in the other. The beds had been "made" since the last guests but they had not changed them. When I reported it to the manager he was very unconcerned and said I guess I'll get you a different room... We switched rooms late and when we got to that room the sheets had more body hair on them. It was late and we needed to sleep and I didn't want to unpack a second time so we just called the manager again to ask for new bedding that we would put on. It took three tries before the person on duty could get us a full set of sheets and pillowcases for two beds...
The breakfast was lacking and the downstairs restaurant was incredibly slow.

This hotel was stellar. The staff was very friendly and more then helpful. We had the queen suite with a jacuzzi and it was perfect for a couple. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you want a reasonably priced but nice hotel. Much better than a Holiday Inn.

Good for the price and clean. Didn't feel welcomed when I arrived at reception which is a first for me...(stayed at probably 500 hotels in my career) Basic things were not mentioned such as my room number when I was given my room card. Also at checkout my bill was simply thrown on the counter unfolded and no offer for an envelope. No courtesy at all from all staff members. Small things go a long way... I will pick another hotel next time I'm in the region. I would had gave this hotel a 4 star otherwise.

Great place to stay. We've stayed in 4 different rooms now and all have been very nice. The place is kept very clean and the staff are friendly. The free breakfast is pretty good too. Great bang for your buck

Very sweet staff. Pool is small but very clean and gorgeous. No hot tub sadly or sauna. My room was big enough for me but if I would have had family with me I would have been cramped. Bathrooms are kind of small as well but again, very clean and just enough for me. The restaurant was delicious and not overly priced. The smell of the room at first was a little pungent. Most likely from being new but once I got used to it, it didn't bother me anymore. Very quiet and peaceful hotel.

I don't rate places based on where I think they fit in in the order of every other hotel in the world.
I'm giving this place five stars because I thought it was a really nice place especially for the price!
The room was Modern, bed was extremely comfortable and clean with way more than what I needed. It had a microwave, fridge, a much larger TV than most hotels with Crystal Clear high-definition reception which a lot of Hotel seem to have a problem with.

The hotel itself was very clean and very attractive. Pretty fancy place for the money. Enjoyed the free parking and the option of a pool and hot tub as well as the free breakfast. As a matter of personal preference I was kind of looking forward to bacon and eggs or something like that but it was still a good breakfast none the less.
I'm not usually too picky about where I stay as long as it's clean comfortable and has the basics but I will definitely be making my way back to the Monte Carlo from now on when I need accommodations in the area.

Excellent food for the conference guests. The staff are very friendly as well. If I were a guest in the area I would definitely choose this one to stay at.

we stayed at the Monte Carlo inn as a weekend getaway in the King Jacuzzi suite. the room is clean and large and there are two TVs; one is viewable from the jacuzzi. The room also comes with a continental breakfast. I found that weekend there were a few trainees and the service was slower than I'd like. Overall I was pleased with the stay.

We got the room with the jacuzzi and it's a beautiful room, though there could be improvement in the service provided. They also are over pricing things like it's $10 a night for a baby crib, or $5 extra for a better breakfast instead of just pastries and fruit. The pool is relatively small but good for young children as it doesn't go deep. Bed is comfortable and plenty pillows provided. The hotel is also clean which is good.
