The room very comfortable. The breakfast not the best we have had at a Holiday Inn
Had to ask for more coffee both mornings.
Good location for why we were in Whitby

Cannot complain about anything from my visit at this location. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean (although a tad dated). TV worked great, internet was quick enough to stream Netflix. Close to dining and shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

Lots of free parking. Breakfast was actually pretty tasty with a few warm items offered including eggs, sausages, pancakes, various breads for toasting. Could have used more variety of yogurt in the fridge. The room was nice and the staff was great as well. One small issue, I had a the two beds room and the beds were nearly impossible to move. I usually like to put one against the wall for my youngest.

The room was spacious and clean. The bed was nice and firm. The air conditioning was top notch! They have a heated, outdoor salt-water pool that was very pleasant to use on one of the hottest days of 2017. They had not cleaned our room by 2:30pm, but were very helpful in delivering fresh towels when we asked. Lots of food options close by, and a cinema.

The front desk staff greeted me right away and made me feel welcome, even though I was just attending a meeting at their location. The lobby was bright and very clean and they made me feel comfortable. Even offered me a cookie as I was leaving.

Staff at front desk were nice and pleasant. Our maid on our floor was great and she had fun and joked around with guests. I recommend this place

Hotel is poorly managed in terms of time-management. Check-in was at 3pm, we arrived on-time only to find a line-up outside the hotel entrance of people waiting to check in. The hotel did not have any clean rooms available. So guests had to wait in line to check in, guest by guest, until a room was available. We waited 1 hour, no complimentary inconvenience offers (i.e. water bottles) were made to those waiting in line or outside. Rooms were quite tiny, the toilets were not cleaned, you could see from inside the bathtub the mold of black that was underneath the rim. It was really disappointing. Beds were comfortable though.

Conveniently located just off the 401. Competitively priced. The front desk and housekeeping staff were helpful and very friendly to us. Special shout-out to the friendly housekeeping ladies. Room furnishings are modern, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Typical hotel breakfast fare but it is good quality. A friendly attendant kept the offerings stocked up. It's nice being able to go downstairs for breakfast, rather than having to drive elsewhere. Coffee available 24/7. We also appreciated the complementary newspapers and cookies at the front desk. We would definitely return to this location.

Terrible experience even trying to get a phone call returned.
My ordeal began with the Sales Manager who booked my initial stay, and asked me to call back 7 days later to see about an opportunity to increase the stay - after a group booking block would be opened up. I called daily for 5 days before finding out that the Sales Manager had left the company suddenly - no indication on the voicemail to that effect.
Then I spoke to the General Manager who seemed to understand the challenge I was facing and the runaround I'd received. She then managed to avoid my calls and emails for a second week before I cancelled my reservation.
I've left no less that 10 messages at that location between the two managers and no one has contacted me in any way.
I book 3 and 4 week reservations for teams of 6 people many times over the course of a year - usually $10 to $14 K n- per booking and they won't even return my calls. I wonder how much money it would take to get a response from this obviously poorly run hotel?

Well I been a client here continiously for months. Id say I am a regular, I come from mississauga all the time too see people and stay here at the hotel. Let me just say that i've always had a great experience here with the staff and stay in general. Especially Daniella? I think her name is? I see her everytime I stay and shes been so accomodating and friendly that her ability to go above and beyond for her clients keeps me coming back. Shes helped me twice when I was in a rush or needed a stay in town due to work and personal reasons. Thanks so much !! Keep
Going above and beyond. I will always be a guest here :)

The rooms are quite dated, and some of the furniture needs updating. The elevator had just been serviced so the main corridors around the elevators had a very intense burnt oil smell. When I got my first room, it was very musty and my allergies went through the roof. I tried two rooms on the fourth floor before I was offered one on the first floor that was much better and did not smell.

On the plus side, all the hotel employees that I dealt with were incredibly helpful and courteous, even while helping me find a room that suited me. I appreciated their patience in ensuring I wasn't spending a night in a room that would leave me coughing and sneezing the whole time.

I spent three days at the hotel and the room was comfortable and clean. The bathrooms seem recently renovated and are very nice. The showerhead is amazing! The cleaning while I was away was good too.

The complimentary breakfast is a nice touch, but very basic

I arrived thinking the overpowering smells would drive me away by night one, but the rest of the stay was quite comfortable.
